I went to Canada for two years when I was a teenager to pursue pro hockey. Didnt make it, but just those two years, well two winters, I spent there and the love they showed us was unreal. People I didn't know supporting and doing whatever they could to make me and the team feel welcome, even tho I wasn't from there. I can't imagine what its like at a pro level and then a level like Jason has reached. Few people get to play pro sports, even fewer win champions, even fewer do it with one team.
