People forget but Kylie has NEVER had an easy road. She was outcasted by Australian radio stations (who refused to play her music). She got nasty nicknames and was treated as insignificant. Yet, in the face of it, she's always held onto her warmth and sweetness. I think she personifies the gay story from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.

All hail our princess of pop dare I say Queen she’s earnt the title. I recall falling in love with Charlene in neighbours growing up as a teen watching religiously and then when SAW began to release all that campery such as Sinitta, Sonia and all the other hit factory pop hits, I was on holiday at a caravan park when I heard locomotion, 12 year old me began my Kylie fandom, buying up every single on 12’’ and donning every square inch of wall space in my bedroom with posters of Kylie, Dannii also. I was lucky enough to experience early pop culture by going to my first gay bar at 17, the black cap in London, Kylie hits were literally blasting out of the speakers and the whiff of poppers filled the air. Kylie on behalf of the LGBTQ 🏳️🌈 community we thank you for giving us the soundtrack to our lives, going on a beautiful journey together that has gone down some difficult roads but we rise from the ashes shakung our perfectly peachy asses wrapped in gold hot pants. I’ll never forget dancing on a podium dressed in a white pvc cat suit with hair extensions and living my best life aged 19 dancing to what do I have to do. My first dabble in gender bending lol I’m sure everyone has a Kylie story to tell. When my dad passed in 2019, my main comfort was to get lost in Kylie music, late at night, cry, drink too much then be consoled by early Kylie songs, it was familiar, I felt like that little boy again, the pain would be replaced by hope in that moment. I can’t explain it, something very spiritual happened in the process. So from my point of view Kylie shall never be taken for granted. I owe her much love. 🦋💕💖🌹🌸 I’m now 46 and can still shake it 🍑✨🌟💫🌈

A few issues there. 1: It is not a 'lifestyle'. Being gay isn't a choice, we are born this way. 2: Being gay/lgbt is not all about sex, it's about love and celebrating who we are. That's like me, a gay man, telling you (Who I assume is straight) to keep your straight love in the bedroom. 3: It isn't affecting you so why hate on it? Live and let live dude.
