Cupid Boy by Kylie Minogue definitely has a musically plucky though also vulnerable in an imaginative way emotional song energy. The vocals raised to match the intensity of the music narrator's feeling for the muse to Cupid Boy also enhances the Cupid Boy theme.

It had a planned single release that never happened. Precisely, after Get Outta My Way, Cupid Boy and Can't Beat the Feeling should have been released probably between October and November and then Better Than Today. I don't know why they only released the latter one. They apparently scheduled 6 single releases: - All the Lovers (Released in June) - Get Outta My Way (Released in September) - Cupid Boy (Planned - never released) - Can't Beat the Feeling (Planned - never released) - Better Than Today (Released in December) - Too Much (Planned release in March 2011 - never happened) Cupid Boy and Can't Beat the Feeling weren't released as singles and Better Than Today underperformed in the charts, after that, every eventual release was canceled. The actual last single was Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) instead of Too Much, it wasn't even planned and was a last-minute release (that's why it has only a lyric video) because Kylie insisted a lot to publish that song to celebrate the fact that she was officially on tour.
