I was 9 when this song came out (I'm 42 now!) and she was working on Neighbours, while juggling the beginning of a pop career. And if I remember correctly, this was filmed on the set in-between the show! I think this song was the best track SAW wrote/produced for her and still holds up all these decades later, what a great song and it made us take her a bit more seriously instead of the sugary sweet songs that came before.

Guys, obviously the song we hear is prerecorded. Obviously, the music video is edited together from numerous takes, costume changes etc. It's not a recording of a live performance. The music video is for the visuals, not the sound. Kylie is singing along with the prerecorded song played out loud on set. It's easier that way when there are dance routines and moves that have to sync with the music. So why would Kylie need to "mime" or make no sounds when it's not the audio on set that's being used for the song? You know in movies the audio is recorded live on set only for reference, and the actors redo all their lines separately in a studio later? Audio and video are handled separately but combined and harmonised later.
