She's very sweet and down to earth, which I think is an Australian trait, like the northern English they do not generally blow smoke up their own b...!.......I understand her comments about America, it's such a different culture over there where everything is magnified a thousand times and a lot seems very fake.....especially in the entertainment industry....she actually was not offensive at all but managed to say what she did in the most charming way!

It's so funny how during numerous interviews from this era she says all that stuff about not wanting to go to America. It seems like every album since Fever she's made attempts to have more of a presence here. During the era when she was actually red hot in America she and her team couldn't be bothered.

Because they were hard at work on the Fever Tour, which is still probably her coolest and greatest concert tour she did. She had to stop rehearsals and work to do some promo in the states... Kinda like a poisoned gift. It happened at the worst time possible for her. The album was released in North America MONTHS after the original worldwide release. Everything was kinda out of her control. She then got some demand after from NA fans and that's why she tried a couple times again.

Most people just wonder why she never became as big there as she is in places like the UK, Europe and Australia. As I said if her US popularity ever catches up to her global popularity that'd only be a good thing for her. I'm sure her and her management team/record label like money, breaking into a market of over 330m people would boost all of their bank accounts.
