Okay finally commenting on this gorgeous video!! Sorry it took me so long!! This was the week from hell, but I finally got to my days off! I have watched this video several times this week to help get me through it!! Your videos always give me the boost I need tbh! You always find new ways to tell Ben's story. All of your videos feel so unique, even when they're about the same subject!! I so love that you found a piece of music literally called "Redemption"! It's so pretty and the title is perfect for him! I love the way you opened with that voice over from Snoke and Palpatine's "my boy". You showed the way he was used as a weapon by these evil characters from childhood! It's so freaking heartbreaking! "The dark side is on our nature" ugh you really captured the way Ben was brainwashed and abused to think there was nothing to him but a shadow, that he could only exist in darkness! What you did there was so powerful and set the video up perfectly! And then of course showing what Luke did to him, which just reinforced all those feelings in Ben. /cries/ I love the way you fit Yoda's quote in there and wove it together with Ben's story so well. "Fear is the path to the dark side" "You're afraid" and "fear leads to anger" with "strike me down in anger and I'll always be with you" gosh that part gives me chills!!! You couldn't have made a more fitting connection there!! and aaaww "hate leads to suffering" the way you show Ben on the ground after Han's dice disappear! I love that because you showed that it lead to his own suffering rather than showing someone else suffering, which I think is a brilliant statement. And obviously the way you reinforced that idea by showing how much it hurt him to kill his father!!! What are you doing to me?!?!?! The way you can hear the emotion in his voice when he says "Dad" IT KILLS ME OMG!!! "You have too much of your father's heart in you, young Solo" I'M GONNA DIE NOW. THIS IS ZOMBIE ASH TYPING THE REST OF THE COMMENT!! The way everything shifts after that!! Leia and Rey seeing the light in Ben and him feeling the pull to it!! And I always love combining the three "I know what I have to do" moments!! I think they really show the progression of his character growth. The first one is him thinking he has to kill his father as a way of killing his own light once and for all. By the time we get to the second one, he realizes he has to kill his abuser, but he still thinks he has to live in darkness. The third one finally has him realizing he needs to kill Kylo Ren and embrace who he truly is. It is such a brilliant example of his growth and redemption happening gradually!! I'm so glad you included that!! Amazing job on this!! It is so sweet and beautiful!!! I can't tell you how happy it makes me when you vid Ben/Reylo!! You are the best!!! IYSM!!!

Maravilhoso trabalho. Parabéns! Desde o primeiro filme dessa última trilogia meu coração dizia que o Kylo Ren iria voltar para a luz no final, voltando a ser o Ben Solo. Quando eu vi isso acontecer realmente no último filme, vocês não imaginam a minha alegria! Pensa numa pessoa feliz, era eu naquele momento! O arco da história do Kylo e seu conflito interior em voltar ou não a ser o Ben foi fascinante e salvou essa trilogia, na minha opinião. Lógico, que devemos dar o merecido valor a fantástica interpretação do ator Adam Driver. Meu coração ficou apertado quando vi a cena do Ben morrendo... Lá no fundo, espero que eles pensem em fazer uma continuação onde, de alguma forma, o Ben possa reviver e ter uma vida junto a Rey.

Rey should be given a chance -- her story is not yet complete. There is a chance that the Sith could yet return, that somehow Darth Sidious could yet cheat death once again, but until then, Rey has a chance to redeem the name of Palpatine from hate and infamy, as the next Grand Master of a resurgent Jedi Order. Grand Master Rey Palpatine-Skywalker...give it a chance to grow on you.

@@Robert_Douglass Yeah. Sadly JJ didn't really care about making Rey her own unique character, rather just another Luke. Say what you will about LJ but at least Rian gave her a bit development with her disillusionment of Luke and the jedi, and dealing how naive she'd been when she failed to turn Ben.
