I mean, neither does Vader or Din Djarin. It’s a case of the Mark being made to look intimidating and cool to show how the person underneath is different. Vader took off his mask for the last time to show a broken, ex Jedi who tried to rectify his mistakes and Din shows someone who changed from a cold hearted killer to someone who went out of their way to help someone. In this case for Kylo he’s trying desperately to seem intimidating and clinging to the dark side but deep down, somewhere, he’s still Ben Solo, son of Han Solo and Leia Organa,

This show could’ve had so much potential as a good series bridging together the Sequel Trilogy just as the Clone Wars and Rebels did with their respected movies but Resistance completely diverted from the movies with unique but mostly on uninterested characters and lack of character development and random/mini adventure episodes with barely having to mention the main event from the movies season 1 did ok at the end with before, during and aftermath of The Force Awakens but season 2 lacked so much no mention with Leia, Poe and the other Resistance forces or the Battle of Craft or the destruction of the Supremacy in The Last Jedi or Luke Skywalker standing up to the First Order which would unite the spark in the galaxy to fight or especially making no existence before the start of The Rise of the Skywalker So much potential but they messed it the ball

There was also going to be a Lightsaber battle which also connected it with TCW. This art style would make Lightsaber more cool (though not realistic, but with it be cool to see glowing sticks in dark). But it was cancelled.

Can probably trace it back to the lack of planning surrounding the sequels, it's hard to write for something that is literally being written on the fly and changed around, hence why this series is so disconnected from the sequels outside some very basic framework. Had the sequels been planned out...at all, this series would have defiantly had more tie-ins.

@@benjaminbierley2074 Season 1 did ok with its timeframe with The Force Awakens it’s that season 2 they messed up The Last Jedi came out 2017, S2 came out a whole year from 2019-2020 with the last episodes should’ve lead up to The Rise of Skywalker but the first half of Season 2 didn’t concentrate with during and after of The Last Jedi with the now new Supreme Leader Kylo Ren and the conquest of The First Order takeover of the Galaxy or it’s effect on people who are supportive or against the new regime or help create a strong character developments with the main heroes and side characters not even helping our heroes searching for The Resistance to band together after “the legendary Jedi Master, Luke Skywalker” stood up to the evil First Order but we got denied I’m not bashing the show but the writers could’ve done a little better for me or you or anybody to enjoy it that’s just my opinion

This was something I never understood of Kylo Ren that the movies did not help. He isn't vader, this presents him like one, but Kylo Ren is interesting because of his temper, his insecurities to become a vader. He isn't never without his mask or something that cloaks his face because he is ashamed of it's goodness. This isn't Kylo Ren. Edit: it's a sad fact that lego star wars: Skywalker saga understood Kylo Ren character better as a fan boy of Vader than what the sequel trilogy did.

@@silverstrike5904 this show is so kid friendly that these pirates have died several times and are still alive . Trandoshan and that monkey guy died like 3 times and either they had a lot of twin brothers or Craigen made clone armie .
