I'm Green believe it or not🥲I got a bit excited taking Black's cap on the first turn but I was blinded by the honeypot. Knew my game was over when I seen your stack come out hence the crying at 12:55! Followed by a last ditch attempt to hopefully kill black at 13:00 (but obviously couldn’t see that 2!). That honeypot is so rare I would have been disappointed had you not gone for it, especially given how green presented you with that cap opportunity turn one. Red 100% does f all in all his games that's how he ranks. Entertaining as always! GG's.

Honeypot indeed. 3 players fought each other for 2 bonuses while yellow got like 6 bonuses uncontested. The easiest game of their life.

Kylted! Long-time fan, first time you didn't play like Kylted, ugh. There were 3 or 4 decisions you made that I went "nooo, why", lol. I can't remember them except for the first one. Instead of putting your 13 troops in the middle of West Africa and working east, you should've put them in Orient and captured Green's cap first--less (cap) troops to deal with, less troops you lose and more available for future collateral. I remember a second decision now too--it's a cascade decision, which was then taking out Black from Africa, which handed a bunch of extra troops over to Yellow (instead of eventually you) with that kill--which you acknowledged was a distinct possibility for Yellow to do. Another observation I'll share, which I've shared with Pete too. It seems that the most successful strategy, after witnessing maybe hundreds of Euro Advance Cap Fog/Blizzard games at this point: 1. secure your own cap, 2. get a quick bonus, 3. blitzkrieg out in the fashion of several tentacles (not proceeding territory area/block by territory area/block), 4. just keep going turn after turn after turn. Why? 1. Some of your "tentacles" will die away, but at least one or two will only be slightly weakened. 2. The extra troops you get from the territory count will bolster your still-remaining tentacles. 3. You'll maximally interfere with enemies getting bonuses (thus increasing the troop count gap between you and them). 4. You'll see the most you can of the map and will only have to minimally guess as to your enemies' locations, troop counts, and immediate goals. How do I know this works? Because I see this working with noobs time and time again against the superstars like you, Pete, and JJ. The only way those noobs wind up losing is not reinforcing their caps at all and you guys doing a cap run (can't even get a world dom on them). I guess analogously it's like a prairie fire surrounding and then engulfing the concentrated settlements. Of course Lady Luck was against you and totally for Yellow in this game as well with the cards. That can't be helped. Hey, give it a shot if you want. Just a fan sharing my observations from the mountain of games I've seen amongst all you guys (and gals).

Shocking !!! I would quit after that game. Totally agree with everything you did and said dude- what a crock red was - Pete had one of those yesterday on new map and had to settle a 3 way by taking 2nd, as pink simply kept breaking him and would not attack blue beyond getting a card and blue was getting 28 troops to Pete's 20. I see this stacking- never attacking method all the time. Myself, I do not care about the points or ranking, down from Expert to Intermediate, with a few dozen more games perhaps I can get back down to newbie, and have more fun each game, as then the masters- intermediate will not backstabbing me so much .. Also had some fun games, but only if ally is faithful- to the bitter end even . A good ally is hard to find, but when you do its great fun, even if you lose. The game and having fun is all, and not being a total shitbag ( ie, attack the host EVERY turn no matter what - really??). What's that about....

This game was pain, but it's a rare situation, just have to keep on trucking and ramdingle those noobs 90% of the time. It's frustrating to see players like red get 2nd but that's Risk. Do nothing and maybe get 2nd or fight for 1st and take some risks and have a blast.

How. Are you always so lucky starting with territories that has 3 to 4 troops at start before choosing your capital? Every 6/10 games i play, the strongest territory i start with only has 2... Makes it impossible to win since i either lose my cap on first turn, or the enemy take advantage of all my low troop territories and focus on me. Is there a trick to always start with at least one territory above 2?

IMO, red got caught in the Noob corner and "saw" what was happening, so played very passive to get 2nd. Not much else you could do in this game.

Wow, that blows... I really think that Risk has some of "per game" luck modifier.... You lose double troops on all of your cap rolls, meanwhile yellow goes positive; you don't have cards on 4, whilst yellow has cards on 3, yellow wins a 2v1... luck *should* be balanced, but often isn't... frustrating AF... I think the only thing you could have done differently (not that you need the advice - lol) was come out from Spain, give up that cap to break yellow, leaving the honeypot cap strong(er)... Yes you would be more easily card blockable, but thats a problem for another turn... And what Expert chooses a BAD noob corner cap when they are second in turn order...

Yellow was way to aggressive and won only because red and white were in a fight as well as green, black and you. Not surprised they were just a beginner, you should have gone into them way earlier, break their bonuses, they probably weren't defending them well. Red being an expert makes sense, they just sat in their corner and waited for yellow to kill you. This strategy can give you GM, so expert is not that surprising (btw this is Allie)

I hate players like Red, basically all my lobbies are full of these players that just hit 1 territory and then cap stack, FOR THE ENTIRE GAME. No breaking no nothing, its horrible, why do they even play risk?

Bad decision making. Go for fast bonuses, not fight two other players to the death for the honey pot. This is the equivalent of watching three noobs suicide for Australia. Turn 2 France was completely free, while you know at the very least Green has their cap inside Egypt, so no way you get it on turn 3, so that it a turn 4 get at best. It is also most likely that black, if he doesn't quit, comes back at Green, since you can see he still holds territory inside. If one of them wins, they are on the other side of the map, and yellow/red would be a buffer.

Watching noobs suicide for a + 2 is a far cry from fighting for a + 9 honeypot with 2 caps. What were the fast bonuses he was supposed to go for? I'm surprised you're not a world champ with your perfect decisiveness. 😴

no way you’re comparing a 1 point hold on a +13 to Australia. Yellow just got away with holding half the board because red is a bad player and white botted into a bot that was pretty passive on top of that because it was cap glue. Even if kylted comes out of the other side there wasn’t a guarantee that whites bot doesn’t slow kylted down so much that he loses anyways

@@Sushigh0st It is obvious that Greens cap is inside, which means at best you get one of the two bonuses turn 4(which he did). No one had made move for France turn 2. Splitting positions to get in a 3 way fight instead of allowing yellow / red to be a buffer against the eventual winner was not a good move.

Yes you can probably guess the second green cap, but you don’t know where white is and you have to guess. Look at the board at the start, now think, white most likely capped in italy, greece, eastern europe, germany, turkey, or even finland/top of russia, and NOT in the shitty noob corner (fairly reasonable assumption, given that you have vision on Oslo and london and there NO blizzard chokes on the noob corner making it especially desirable) if white chose any of those half decent capitals and not the one in iceland/middle of fucking england, then having that 1 point cap in africa by turn 5 is pretty damn good because yellow shouldn’t have half the board to just take it from you. Even if you’re wrong in that assumption, at least there’s another player and assuming they want to actually play the game and NOT take a card and pass in the noob corner when their neighbor is getting 30 per turn, they’ll help handle yellow because usually that happens, but it did not here. On top of all that Kylted lost 27 on a 13 cap, unlucky TLDR; Bad decision making does not get you a 1 point cap hold on a +19 bonus by the time that cards are giving you 15 troops, that is an incredible position. Unfortunately the board was too open and yellow (either knowingly or unknowingly) made an even better play by taking advantage of it and taking the rest of the board
