When installing rollers, note that they will have different sides, the side with more plastic on it will lead and you will instal them counterclockwise. If roller are same on both sides, then they can go in either way.

You just need to know the part number and they’ll order anything you need directly from Kymco at awesome prices, 1/3 less than you’d pay at a dealer. To look up a part number just google Kymco downtown parts diagrams.

There is a small cover on the plastic cover that covers a small round filter on the left side . Is it a must to open that small cover in summer days ? To cool the inside of the housing you know ...

Why did you change all that out ? My manual Kymco 2012 Like 200 i states change belt every 7-8 years and just did that in Oct 2020 and it really looked good. Every thing else looked good.

The rollers should be changed as soon as they are worn, that till depend On many factors, the belt usually can last around 10-15 thousand miles but with age, can go bad even with less. The sliders like rollers will need to be replaced if they are badly worn etc. in order to keep the scooter running like new it’s best to follow maintenance intervals in the manual..

What tool set did you use or do you have a recommendation

Just a socket set. I used an impact driver to get the clutch abs the variator off. If you don’t have one, you can buy a variator tool which holds it in place while you take the buy off but the impact makes it much easier. You really don’t need anything else, maybe a torque wrench when putting everything back on.

Is a 2021 xtown 300 with 11k miles for 3300 a good price ? And anything to look for before buying it?

I think it can be if it’s in great shape, at around that milage youlll need a new belt, valve checks, probably new rollers, and a complete fluid flush.

Hmm.. maybe your belt, brakes, I’m not sure. Could be a few things. Any issues accelerating? Where does it seems it’s coming from?

Hi, have the same problem on a 2010 kymco gti 300 , a squeaking noise on slow-medium acceleration that gets quite loud between 17 km/h and 22 km/h after 22km/h there is no squeaking at all, also on full acceleration from 0 to 30 i can't hear it.The sound comes from the transimision. The belt and rolers were changed in 2019 at 15000km now its has 21000, could squeaking come from rolers? Thnks.

@@ionutrs2212 generally belt or the clutch. You can take the cover off and listen up close I’m sure you’ll be able to see what’s causing it

Sounds like I have the same thing. Can squeak on take off, most noticeable when the clutch dissengages under engine breaking where there's a short squeek as it dissengages. My guess is when the clutch first engages the shoe doesn't make a good contact with the outer housing and squeakes. Other people can comment if that sounds reasonable, I'm no mechanic.

@@chaza4454 could be. It's been a while since I've dealt with mine. But the bell might be glazed and doesn't make great contact. Sanding/scuffing it down might help. Search up a video on how sand down a scooter clutch bell

Tu su negde, yamaha je nešto kvalitetnija ali nema velike razlike. Moj kymco je nešto stariji tako da koliko sam video recimo novi xciting je bas vrhunski skuter a pogotovo ak550, mislim da je mala razlika ali eto yamaha je nešto popularnija i neki delovi izgledaju kao da su bolje uradjeni ali u suštini su veoma slični

Hi, what is the difference between downtown and xtown?

Biggest difference is that the Downtown has a 4 valve engine and the XTown a 2 valve. Other than that, they’re similar. XTown does look better in my opinion

@@Julian-pj4yv the new tmax is probably the best scooter you can buy. It’s just very expensive, they’re about 13500 for the regular version and about 15500 euros for the tech max version. If I had the money I’d love to have it. The ak550 is a great scooter. well priced and I think it looks great. It’s pretty high tech so idk how reliable it’ll be considering making such a high tech scooter is new for Kymco but I’m sure it’ll be reliable just like other Kymcos. In the US we don’t get the tmax but we do get the ak550 and if I had the money I would buy it I just don’t have 10,000 dollars…

@@nemanjatosovic pa ono koje je godište, koliko si prešao km, da li ga baš pržiš ili normalna vožnja i tako to, nakon koliko vremena/kilometara si mijenjao remen, i da li je bitno koja marka je remen i sl. npr da li si kad mjenjao težinu rolera... koja ti je šifra mašine? moj je BF60C (300i 20.1KW)

@@nemanjatosovic da li imaš u uputama za održavanje na engleskom tzv CRANKCASE BREATHER koji se kao čisti prilikom svakog servisa, a nikako da odgonetnem šta je to? (makar nisam još puno čačkao po njemu jer je nov relativno, zamjena ulja i filtera i iridium svjećicu sam mu ubacio, i bome puno bolji odziv gasa ima sa njom i mirnije radi na minimumu)

@@albirdie1630 e izvini tek videh. Ukupno sam prešao nešto preko 12,000 km. Skuter je 2014 i uglavnom sam vozio normalno. Osim kaiša, slajdera, rokera, nisam ništa menjao a i oni su izgledali ok. Samo ulje i filter i to je to. Mada sam pridao skuter nedavno i sada vozim yamahu xmax

@@albirdie1630 to je malo crevo kroz koje izlazi visak gasova koji se stvore u motoru. Ne sećam se gde se nalazilo na kymcu, pogledaj negde na oklopu cvt menjača imaćeš slično malo crevo i na oklopu od vazdusnog filtera. To samo skines i očistiš. Možda bude malo vode unutra, kod mene je uvek bilo čisto.
