good evening, tell me why the odometer does not work, it does not count km, the speed arrow shows everything ok, the times work, the dashboard works. thank you

It is not good to loose the variator nut with a ratchet, you will bend the crankshaft and your piston rod bearings will disintergrate, any strong movement on your crankshaft will require you to balance it,,,,,, always use a small impact wrench 120ft-lbs Dewalt impact driver $99.00 at Home depot. To balace your crankshaft you must split the case.

i cracked couple of fins on the variator plate before i realised that i can buy cheap electric impact wrench that does the job perfectly and quickly

The new belt looks to be hanging a lot lower the original one ?

thats before you run the engine, once you turn it on for couple of seconds it becomes tight... dont ask me why but it just does, i noticed that when i took mine appart, and put it back on (the same belt -it looked loose, but only before i started it again) the clutch spring probably adjusts it after some turns or something

did you adjust valves on that engine? how many times? have you noticed any change in your engine (sound) before or after valve adjustment? anyone can answer, thx

I checked the valves and they were within tolerance (0.10mm). It is not difficult to adjust it (there is enough space)

have you noticed any change in your engine performance after belt was replaced?
@klemen61555 ай бұрын
I didn't notice the change, after 3000km my belt started to slide. I think the problem with the width of the belt was not the new 25.2mm.

@@klemen6155 i have 10000km now, and it still rides like first day... i'll check valves after summer, i change oil and filters regularly (2-3k) and try to ride as gently as possible, but i still like to twist the throttle more often than i should,lol, but never on cold engine
