I love your videos. I am looking to upgrade my scooter in the next coming weeks and am tossing up Sym Fiddle III 200i vs Kymco Like 150i. Which one did you prefer? Here in Australia, there's about a $850 USD equiv. price difference where the Kymco is the more expensive one. DO you think it's worth the extra $$?
@RamenOnWheels5 жыл бұрын
Both are great choices, but for me I have always favored the fiddle III 200i a little more than the kymco, just because of personal preferences and that fact that it is cheaper is a double plus for me. But its about whether you think the features and functions that you find appealing in the kymco is worth paying the additional $850. So its up to your personal preferences.

Great vid. Needed more info on the Kymco Like 150 as there is not much out there. Hopefully you can start doing actual test ride reviews!

Have u ever had a flat back tyre if so how difficult was it removing the wheel etc and getting the bike home ? What would u do if u got a flat far from home ? I was thinking of buying those emergency foam inflators
@RamenOnWheels5 жыл бұрын
removing the front tire is pretty easy. The back tire is a little more difficult. I would probably just call a one of my friends with a truck to tow it back home.

@@RamenOnWheels but u wouldnt have the gear to repair a puncture? Do u I need to take a scooter to a motorcycle tyre shop on the back of a truck what a pain the ass. It's something that bothers me even though it hasn't happened yet I dont want to get stranded it would cost heaps to get it taken to a tyre shop

@@matowixunplugged7927 had this happen to me with a back tire. Thankfully I live in LA and there was an AutoZone 3 blocks back. For smaller scooters (49cc like mine) you can walk it on the sidewalk a good distance and get to a place you can fix it. I keep basic tools in the seat so I had everything on me to repair it and the pegs lift the seat enough to get it on and off without problem. Any ride bigger then that, or if i had to go significantly farther and I would have called someone with a truck.

Just wondering how you arrived at a quality of 6 What was the criteria?
@RamenOnWheels5 жыл бұрын
These are my personal rating based on things such as The Like body frame is made of plastic. Some of the major parts are the scooter are made with a lower quality metal and based on some reviews there are a few features that are not 100% up to par.

I got the 150 last summer. I love it, but after getting my motorcycle license i want to move up to a motorcycle.

So many people want to graduate from scooter to motorcycle. But scooters are so much more fun.

@@RamenOnWheels I could not, the ease of a scooter. Not having to worry about up shifting and down shifting. (I actually failed my motorcycle test the first time because of all the questions about shifting, they really should have a scooter specific test now that more states require license for smaller engines thanks to bird and limes abuse of laws)
