Something I never understood about CVS Kyo is...why is his outfit green? It's suppose to be black but in CVS 1 and 2 it's green and that always confused me.

Kyo's outfit in Kof is a slightly green/brown black, I only noticed this recently and it's more noticeable if placed side by side with the other clothes to compare. And at CVS, perhaps because of the artistic style, they went too green. I prefer the color of Player 2 in this video.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I love the outfit they gave kyo from kof 99 to 2002

I wanted to use him but he felt award without his ground fire ball, if he was like his composite mugen counterpart i would have mained him

94/95 Kyo is his least liked form. Most agree Kyo works better withought a fire ball because he just becomes a worse Iori

Ehh i dont think kyo needs a fireball his rushdown is good enough i do miss kusanagi tho his dps was wild in um02

IIRC, some Grooves have different movesets to others. I remember Ryo and Yuri having different fireballs.

Not that I know of, what changes are just the mechanics available for each Groove and the availability of some Super levels. Level 2 for example is only available on C-Groove, K-Groove only uses Super Level 3

@@fightinggamemovelists You will have to individually inspect them, but from what I remember (because it has been over 20 years since I played CVS2) is that movesets tend to be homogeneous in the CAP Groove group vs the SNK Groove group. Start with Ryo and Yuri as I know the differences are there.

I went to check out Ryo as you suggested, because I had already made his video (it's scheduled). I didn't notice any difference in moves between the Grooves. So I went to ask on the CvS2 Discord server and they also told me that there is no difference in special moves. Isn't it another game?

@@fightinggamemovelists It's the fireballs, they become full screen projectiles and IIRC you can do an aerial fireball like Akuma with Ryo.

@@fightinggamemovelists I decided to check some other videos on KZbin and it appears my memory is fuzzy because I don't see the changes when different Grooves are equipped. I must be mixing it up with the Extra and Advance modes from KOF.
