Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger Dragon Caesar 恐竜戦隊ジュウレンジャー ドラゴンシーザー

Welcome to my 200th video!!! This is DX Dragon Caesar [DX ドラゴンシーザー]
Dragon Caesar is the personal Shugozyu [守護獣] of Burai/Dragon Ranger [ブライ/ドラゴンレンジャー]. While it is mostly controlled from the ground via the awesome Zyusouken [獣奏剣] it does have a scarcely used cockpit as well. As Zyuranger is the first series to have a sixth hero, Dragon Caesar is the first auxilary mecha to have it's own pilot. This changes, however, when Burai dies during the series. Dragon Caesar is later controlled by Geki/Tyrannoranger [ゲキ/ティラノレンジャー] by Zyusouken or Goushi/Mammothranger [ゴウシ/マンモスレンジャー] when Dragon Caesar is in Goryujin mode.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe that Dragon Caesar is the very first Super Sentai Mecha to use electronic lights and sounds. That said, the light and sound feature of Dragon Caesar is pretty basic. Two AA batteries will enable the chest to blink and make a beeping sound. Basic, but it works here.
Dragon Caesar can form two combinations with DX Daizyujin [DX 大獣神].
The first combination is called Goryujin [剛竜神]. Goryujin is the combination of Dragon Caesar with Zyumammoth [ジューマンモス], Triceratops [トリケラトプス], and Saber Tiger [サーベルタイガー]. It is similar in form to Daizyujin with Dragon Caesar basically taking the place of Tyrannosaurus [ティラノザウルス] and Pteranodon [プテラノドン]. Instead of a basic sword, Goryujin uses a large drill made of the chest and tail called the Dragon Antler [ドラゴンアントラー].
The second combination is called Zyutei Daizyujin [獣帝大獣神]. This combination is the completed Daizyujin with Dragon Caesar laid on top as an armor. It's pretty basic. I can't think of many times this was used by itself in the series, since it was mostly seen riding in King Brachion [キングブラキオン] to form Kyukyoku Daizyujin [究極大獣神].
The toy is pretty decent. All of the pieces are well made and fit with the existing Daizyujin pieces nicely. The quality is much better than Daizyujin. I do think that the face-piece that folds down when in Goryujin could fit better when it is folded up as Dragon Caesar's teeth. Other than that...it's a pretty solid mecha.
Bandai America released Dragon Caesar in the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Megazord line as Dragonzord. The DX Dragonzord, much like Megazord and Titanus [or Titanos] is slathered with those awful power bolt stickers that do NOT belong on the toy. Other than that, it is a copy of the Bandai Japan version. It should be noted that the America version includes a large scale action figure of Tommy the Green Ranger. An updated version of Dragonzord was not released during the 2010 reairing of Power Rangers.
