That looks awesome. I just ordered everything, and it actually came to $50 USD with shipping, but still a hell of bargain. I just got this car built, and now I have to take it all apart 😂 I already scratched the chassis, so it works out. Now we just need the rear wing, and carbon drive shaft.

To make it a bit easier for yourself I would solder gold bullet connectors (short ones) to the motor and ESC. Solder the female part of the connector to the motor and the male to the ESC. That way you only have to solder once and you can move things around easily. ;-)

There is a rear Carbon Gear Differential Axle made by Kyosho (EFW002) which is perfect for that chassis set.

You should see if it splits at the edges. Real carbon fibre components will need sealed at the cut edges. Many of the cheap/fake carbon parts out there are some type of GRP with a carbon veneer. Yes it's often lighter but rarely stronger. In my experience of composite materials is that they don't look nice, they are often dirty to work and in many applications it's not about saving weight. More often than not its heat or chemical resistance, sometimes it's about flexibility or removing flex. In many of the applications I worked with its was about absorption of stresses. Not to mention carbon fiber dust is actually more harmful than asbestos.

My OCD brain screams to adjust the cables lengths perfectly if you are alleeady go for optional parts. Also just for the looks. But it really looks nice with the carbon

Yes I agree, if you are going to keep the electronics in the car, adjusting the cable length improves the looks so much. I did this on my B6.4 race buggy

Thanks Gavin, I ordered a set of these for my Kyosho Fantom. The parts are very nice and cheap too. I had a hard time getting one of these cars. Not sure why? I could get one of these cars for $500.00 on Ebay. This is a pan car and not worth that much money. Kyosho sells the car for $219.00, but they are out of stock. Kyosho USA does have the body, tires ESC and brushless motor. Thoughts?

The ESC is from Performance 1. It’s an ESC made by them. It’s almost the same as the Kyosho branded version of the same thing apart from being a bit better spec and cheaper.
