yes! 100% good comment right here about the OS engines for planes and hellis. I have a vintage smaller size OS LA engine in a plane to this day, still runs fine.

whats up my dude!! Unfortunately this one isn't mine, but I'm glad it belongs to a fellow Nitro Gang Friend of mine. The ride height was super low, and it did not appear to have multiple mounting position for the shocks (we going to have to look into rising it somehow - might need a longer shock rod end. Otherwise it was straight from eBay and perfect overall.

@@hybrid32494 That would solve the problem! Or turn out the rod ends a few threads and see how that goes first. Be carefull though as the top of the piston rod can damage the bladder due to a longer compression stroke (guess how i know, lol). Add a small rubber o-ring on the piston rod, above the spring cup to limit the compression stroke. This car would've been a great addition to your collection my dude!

Holy shit that body shell looks good. I wish companies would still make "basher" versions of their nitro racing chassis. Like Xpress is doing for their electric 1:10 cars; one high priced high end version with aluminium and carbon and a cheaper one with mostly plastic and fiberglass.

hey bro! I just googled a 1999 Benz CLR and the tairlights seem correct. The white part of the Lens is pointed upwards, just like on the real car. I also thought they looked weird honestly, but the car's shape is kinda of interesting to and seems very long for a 1/10 model.

Hi, i have the Same engine, and its pretty easy to kill it. I forgot to empty the engine at season end , so it sat the whole winter with Nitro in it and started the rust party. Next season i was wondering why it didnt kept running. I opened IT and hell yeah, the sleeve and Piston have been scratched out so bad, that i have to complete rebuild it. But parts are hard to find. So Kids, Always remember your after Run procedure😉 2. Why you didnt rised Up the ridehigh a little bit??? Kind regards

Bl;essings...Can you tell me you did a video back in 2018 about the Prius 2nd generation: Titled: Prius 12 volt and hybrid battery self test. Is that a factory repair shop test? And is it accurate? I have never seen anyone offer this info before Is why I ask. I have to assume you must have got that technique from someone very knowledgeable. The reason I ask is I have a 2008 prius that is showing hybrid battery charging problems yet I run your test and it keeps showing the hybrid battery at a good 14.2 volts and the 12 volt battery at 12.2 volts. hello, yes that was my original video back in 2018, I have since owned another prius of that same generation and the hybrid battery has never failed in either one. Just to give you some more clarity, that internal "self-test" really will not tell you the voltage or condition of the hybrid(traction) battery. The only thing I was demonstrating is that while the car powers on with the small 12V Aux battery you can quickly see the hybrid battery kick in the power to around 14V (this means the battery is not totally dead). I'd recommend you look up a prius shop which specializes in rebuilding batteries, it can be done for not much money these days.

This is not a "pan car"! This is an example of the latest tech full race on road nitro. A "pan car" is what the very first rc on road cars were- NO suspension, solid rear axle and 2wd only made from a slab of fiberglass! You could buy the basic kit for around $60 plus engine which would have been a converted airplane engine with side exhaust, but that was all we had at first! Oh, throw in an AM (!) radio that glitched non-stop, we actually had friends on bikes ready to chase the runaways! No fail safe until the 90's, but hey- you could put an 1/8 scale on the road for maybe $200 or less. Todays on-road racers will cost around $600+ for kit, plus body, plus wheels/tires, plus radio and servos, plus engine. A true 40,000+ rpm 10 port race engine was $600 even 20 years ago, so yeah, when you see a full on 1/10, 1/8 racer ready for competition you're looking at around $1,500+, and that does'nt include tons of spare parts you'll need. These things go thru belts, pulleys, gears like crazy. Oh, and how much is 30% nitro these days?! Turbo glow plugs around $18 now- ONE lean run and you'll be replacing it. One grain of sand in the pulleys will split the belt, destroy the pulleys. Thes things are for fully prepared and freshly blown clean race tracks. But what a freaking BLAST they are! Did this every weekend I could for years!

Why does everyone want the OS Max-12TR??? I have an old Losi XXX-NT AD2 version with an OS12-TZ that make more power then that according to specs I'm 1.5ps @ more RPM + gobs of bottom end torque too

Hey man, thanks for checking out this video. I will agree. The vendetta is super low and there’s literally no way to raise the right height, very similar to this exact model. I will have to look into more shock preload because the right height seems to be a real issue on here as well.

Nobody installs one way bearings in touring cars anymore. It’s 4WD under acceleration but only has rear wheel braking which is pretty bad if you want to slow down in a straight line. These days cars use a spool in the front for max braking. I think the whole notion of a front one way is very interesting but screams of Japanese over engineering. Solving problems that don’t exist.

Same!! I usually only apply the most basic stickers, which are the lights and the bumper and window application stickers, other than that I usually keep the body fairly clean.
