Japanese keep their culture and tradition in a very good manner. While watching the festival rituals with traditional Japanese songs, I was whisked away from reality back to hundreds of years ago. Feeling so comfy.
beautiful mono cultural Japan, please keep it that way.

Why does the wall of the car look like my oriental carpet
@zaslikarakas4 жыл бұрын
Lol I was thinking the same thing. I said "Oh those looks like Turkish carpet designs!" to myself 😂
@t0naka14 жыл бұрын
That's because they are originated to Turkey or orient regions. Centuries ago there was a cultural road through Eurasia continent between Old China and The Orient, Old Rome, and so on. They had brought those designs and patterns. You have just a nice point of view about it.

Europe take note - 'Intangible Cultural Heritage' - incorporate more of your historical narrative & ancestral traditions & identity into your contemporary society at all cost, by law if necessary, or your descendants will not know where they come from and in turn who they are, and how much was sacrificed to get there and how to further build upon. Those with no culture & traditions have no familial bonds to tie them together - tribeless, without identity, spiritually shipwrecked - easy to control, brainwash, displace(!) and conquer.

Europe is slowly transformed into a caliphate, and America will be a Sub-Saharan African colony. On Asian countries don't fall into the trap of "multi-ethnic diversity"

If you look carefully, you'll notice that some of the carpets that decorate the Gion Festival floats depict episodes from the Old Testament.

Some theory(?) say that the Hata family (deep connection to this area of Japan and Shinto religion) ancestor is from Israel, maybe one of lost tribes. Also Gion = Zion? You might like to look at various videos of connecting between ancient Israel and Japan

According to people studying the relationship between ancient Israel and Japanese traditional culture, GION is said to be a change in ZION. GION is a part of Kyoto. The city of Kyoto was built by the HATA family, who was naturalized from ancient China to Japan. Researchers say the roots of the HATA family are in ancient Israel. The HATA family who built Kyoto was not Jewish but converted to Nestorianism. Of course, their ancestors would have believed in Judaism. Therefore, traces can still be seen in various cultures in Kyoto.

It seems strange that the festival in Kyoto is decorated with Persian carpets and carpets designed in the Old Testament. But given the impact of Roman and Persian culture on Japan via the Silk Road, it's no wonder.
