Alex, thanks so much for playing Kyoto Tachibana SHS Band again and for sharing your joy and support for them. They are a blessing to this world and bring only positive joy wherever they touch!! This perormance was actually a big honor for them, as they were invited to perform for Taiwan's National Day celebrations, and also commemorating 50 years of friendship between Taiwan and Japan. The lady in the stands wearing the light color (tan) jacket, that the video shows a few times, is the president of Taiwan. What an amazing honor and compliment for our beloved KT SHS band!!👏👏👏👏

This is the routine they are using for the marching competitions this year. The normal marching portion is where they perform the required elements necessary to satisfy the rules before they switch to the entertaining part of the show.

@@squeakychairchannel Sit-down concerts as a wind orchestra, parades, stage shows, contests, field shows, and the big concert at the end of the year where they do both sit-down and stage show with extra songs added. Sometimes the shows are adapted to the venue like this one in Taiwan where they paraded before and after the contest part..

@@squeakychairchannel They find study time wherever they can, like during free time while on this trip. The day after they returned they took mid-term exams and passed. They must maintain good grades to stay in the band. Normal practice times are 1.5 hours before classes and 3 hours after, with 5-6 hours each Saturday and Sunday. The choreography is built from a list of about 60 named steps that are combined in different ways to match the songs.

The key point is not "same program". The key is they are high school, every year 1/3 of members are replaced. 3 years after it's a new team.

@@squeakychairchannel daily training of tachibana band is actually managed by grade 3 students. Drum major is the leader of management layer. But they have to leave after they graduate. Every year new drum major is elected from grade 2 student. Year by year. Generation by generation.

@@squeakychairchannel actually after the directing teacher and coach retired in 2019, the style of Tachibana has changed a little bit. 5 years ago they had more steps and moves in parade. Now they are much slower... Maybe it's just because of 3 years of Covid, they could not perform in public....

Hello, with your interest in the Little Oranges or the " Orange Devils " of K.T. S.H.S.B.B.C., do you ever listen to the " O-VILS " Band. It is comprised mostly of Kyoto Tachibana Alumnae. So far, they have composed three pieces of music. The first is " Trigger " followed by " The Range of O ", then " Enchanted Park ". The General Director is Yuina (nee)Mita a Percussion Corps member of the 107th Term (2010). She is also a J-POP Star too. ' Hey! " 🍊 - 🧚🧚🧚 s! 🦖🦖🦖

@@squeakychairchannel Hello, there are many, many videos of the several O-VILS Entertainment Group concerts. It's hard to choose any one particular video. So, I have watched them all and have collected them in three Playlists. The following video is interesting because of two points. First just days before this is a dress rehearsal video of the O-VILS second concert. Unfortunately, just days before this second concert a reported second outbreak of the Covid virus was announced. Though the Band sells out every performance, they have had to intentionally halved the available seating. This second concert was postponed at great personal expense to Ms. Mita, until October. So, this is a video of the Concert That Never Was. The second point is, I believe Ms. Mita had rented this never before seen prior to this concert nor after. It's a sad thing. This drum kit had a unique and exquisite tone. I wish she would have kept it. Anyways, here is the August 27, 2021, Dress Rehearsal video. @@squeakychairchannel ジャンルは違いますが学生時代に何かに夢中になった事はあります。 まぁ日本の学生なら放課後に大抵はスポーツや文化系のクラブに所属して部活動の練習にと時間を費やした経験があるのでは？そしてその同じジャンル同士(吹奏楽なら吹奏楽、バレーならバレー等々)で年に１回～数回地区大会、県大会、全国大会等でレベルを競います。 同じ学生同士であっても優劣がつくのに先に述べたような練習の質の違いがあると当時考えました。 あとはまぁ国によっての国民性ですかね。 日本人は他人に迷惑をかけるのを良しとしないので自分ができない事で仲間に迷惑をかけるのが嫌なので同じレベルまで出来るようにとトレーニングしますし集団の和を乱すのを控えるのでトレーニングを勝手に来たり来なかったりみたいな事はしません。特別な理由(怪我や身内の不幸等)があればその限りではないですが。 個人主義感の強い外国の方々と根本的に違うかと思いますが逆に私は海外の方々をステレオタイプでしか知らないので違っていたなら御免なさい。
