When in Rome was definitely a disappointment…like a low budget hallmark movie in book form. Definitely try some Abby Jimenez for romcom with depth and fun

Legend born was definitely 5 stars for me. I loved the complexity of the story line, the historical fiction aspect and the plot twists!! I didn’t think I would be a fantasy girlie but I feel like this is the first fantasy read that has opened the doors for me to read more fantasy lol. can’t wait to read the next books in the series!!!!!!!!!!! P.S omg the arm and clicker setup looks sooooo cozy lol I need that in my life 😂

If you’re in your sci-fi era, Red Rising! I told you I didn’t like book 2 but pushing through to book 3 is worth it. In any case, you can enjoy book 1 w/o the rest of the trio & I have red nails right now too 💅😉

Nope! I think that mostly happens if you’re letting water get trapped under the nail or using clippers and things that aren’t clean

It's so funny how books read for different people, I really loved When in Rome and Practice Makes Perfect. The way you described your experience was the complete opposite for me! I personally think that all Sarah Adams books are supposed to be quick, cheesy, not so serious reads, a palette cleanser like you said. Legendborn sounds so good though!!

As someone that was unsure about reading Legendborn I can definitely say part 3 is where it gets good. Things really start to happen and I became more invested in the story and the characters. I’m very excited to see where this first book goes and how it ends.
