I agree with the Colleen Hoover comment. I loved her when I first got into reading and read most of her books. They always hit the spot for me. I feel like once she started getting hate everyone just jumped in the hate train. As if millions of other authors haven’t also written cringy unrealistic romances. Or romance that’s dealt with heavy topics. Obviously it’s all subjective but from what I remember I binged her books and was never left disappointed

If you’re looking for some easy reading goal boosters, I’d highly recommend Long Way Down on audio! It’s super short and dramatic so it’s easy to finish.

I've read the inmate by Freida McFadden it's was good. My bookclub is currently reading heard in a love song by Tracey Garvis Graves atm we finished true love by Sarah Gerard it was a 3.25 stars.

Pines was turned into a TV series some years back. Maybe 2017 or 18. It was so good!!! I didn’t finish season 2 but it’s still something I plan to watch. Definitely picking up those books thank you.

The WISDOM/life lessons you spoke when reading/ finishing the third Gilmore girl is astounding and profound. Definitely some important and necessary things right there. I got my first taste of this around high school, thinking how it was strange everyone felt that what you did in high school defined your life and would haunt you forever and then not even a year or 2 after graduation seemingly noone cared anymore. Self reflection is such an important part of life. You grow the most from it, and the results are beautiful.
