Like I said, Gobert is going to have PTSD after this series... It is quite bad when your defensive specialist cannot be on the court because he cannot defend... Last time Luka faced Gobert in the playoffs, he basically sent Gobert first to the bench and then off to Cancun. And it broke the entire Jazz team...
@kevinparada76917 ай бұрын
when was he not on the court here "because he cannot defend" ?
@timometsanoja96667 ай бұрын
@@kevinparada7691 he was extremely useless for the Jazz in the 2022 series against Luka and the Mavs. And it looked quite similar in game 1. Gobert is going to glog your lane on the offensive end and this is why Minnesota shoots a lot from the outside. The drop coverage they tried in game one just leaves too many options for crafty ball handlers to take advantage of, but then again when you have guys like Luka and Kai, there isn't much the defenses can do... They will probably be heavily blitzed in the second game, but that will leave the shooters and dunkers with plenty of space and easy shots. And even in game 1, Kyrie had a pretty typical game and Luka did score, but his other stats weren't on their normal levels. And this is the thing! Luka and Kyrie don't have to be superhuman for Dallas to win... This separates this years Mavs from the Mavs teams of the past with Luka. I hope Dallas wins, but I wouldn't be too surprised to see Wolves win it either. I just hope we get to see a whole of good games with competitive scores and not too many 30 point blowouts...

My respect for Kyrie Irving is going right through the roof. His intelligence, his elegance in the game and his calm inner balance make him one of the most special players in the game.
