Mavs in 6. The momentum for the Mavs is there and they're finally startung to peak. Lively's back and Maxi ia too. There were no blowouts until they came back. We have multiple elite defenders that can move quick and mive with the ball. Whoever Al Hirford ia on will be a mismatch the whole series and Lively is waaaaayyhy better than Pirzingis in the paint. Pretty sure Mavs are gonna run this same defense with Lively on the perimeter pushing Porzingis to the helo defender. If they do, that takes Porzingis out of the game and you have to hope JB abd JT can outscore Luka and Kyrie. They can't. Jrue Holiday is gonna be a serious problem though. On to the subject of the bench, Dallas is by far the deeper and better team. Defense is gonna be the difference in who wins.

I know the Mavs won and I should respect it, and I really don't want to disrespect them for their accomplishments and path to finals cuz I understand it was incredibly hard in that wild wild west, but I can't help the thought of just getting this out there: Are the Mavs really the BEST team in the West despite winning the west? Idk why, although Mavs won it, I feel like the Nuggets in ways are still the best team in the West even after concluding the West playoffs. Idk maybe just me, like I'm not a Nuggets fan or anything, but I believe Nuggets should have won the West but just choked up or ran out of gas or something - like they didn't play to their full 100% potential (similar to the 2018 Warriors who struggled eerily in the West playoffs going 7 games against a broken Rockets, and barely squeaking it out). I will say Mavericks have been looking like a top 3 team at least this year in the West for sure, but I don't know even though they heading to the finals, I can say going into next season: The West runs through the Mavericks (unless they sign Lebron or someone lol). It still seems Nuggets are the team to beat to reach your desired destination. Feel like Mavs got away with one cuz another team did that job for them this year.
