The Wizards took a step backwards when they didn't re-sign Larry Hughes after the 2005 season. Larry was the perfect complement to Gilbert and took on the tough defensive assignments. He had to perfect personality to balance Gilbert's personality. Caron Butler was an admirable replacement, but Larry Hughes was a better fit.

What BH said about Wemby is exactly what Tatum and Brown need to do. They dont take advantage of their size when playing smaller players like curry, Poole, Vincent etc. Wasting time trying to shake and bake step back 3s against quicker, smaller players and turning it over.

at 15:35 i don't think people understand how something so basic and simple, can go long ways with some players careers. i love hearing stories of the guys i watched growing up have to say, now that they are retired, for me that's Gil's era, Kobe, Iverson etc so hearing their stories is so dope like him talking about Carslile at 11:48 saying he had a janky jumper, i obviously never met Rick; but i 100% believe what Brendan saying lol hopefully the players Gil bring on here can tell us more coaching stories like that
