The guy who hypnotised John at the start is actually a real person playing himself. His name is Derren Brown and he makes TV shows where he debunks things like hypnotism, the paranormal and mind control. They are all really good!

The actress playing Watson’s fiancé Mary, (Amanda Abbington,) was Martin Freeman’s partner in the real world for many years. They never married, but they have two kids together. Sadly the split up a few years back.

The sad thing is that they split up between session 3 and 4. In series 4 the big emotional scene they had to do would have been so hard to get through. I saw a behind the scenes clip for that scene and, she couldn’t stop crying in between takes. It was so emotional it caused the Producer to breakdown in tears herself.

In reading the books and watching the Jeremy Brett series, I was always amazed that, Sherlock came back to Watson with a hardy handshake. I would always wonder why Watson didn't beat the crap out of Holmes.

So the last eposide of season 2 was sherlock's plan to get rid of jem.. The fake detective and mycroft giving infromations about sherlock's childhood.. So mycroft actually was A part of the plan that is why he knew sherlock is a live ❤️

If I remember correctly, he was undercover somewhere to get information and when it escalated, Mycroft came in to save him (I don't think he willingly let him get tortured, though, he can be rough with his brother, but even he's got a limit xD)

The girl in the right have already watched it... She gave it away when she said hez gonna crash the proposal.. and many times in the previous episodes I have caught her... She thinks shez acting good but she keep getting carried away from time to time
