So, heads up: The direction choices for the Nobara vs. Mahito fight was a bit off, likely due to the rush the animators were under. I do hope you see the manga chapters for this Ep at some point, because Nobara did more than just stand there waiting for Mahito to come and touch her face. The Hallway wasn't nearly as large, the Doubles hid in each others silhouette to act as a Blindspot to hide that 2 were there, Nobara tried to block her face but Mahito busted through, etc. (Not a Manga Reader really, I just read this arc to compare)

I have a theory that we (as an audience) saw Saori through Fumi' and Nobara' eyes, that's why she looked so mature.

Yuji and Nobara are Mahito’s natural enemy cause they can damage Mahito’s soul unlike other sorcerers. That’s back to back death from Mahito. Yuji is soooo pissed and feels defeated. 😭
