The reason why Sherlock knew for sure that Watson will go to the circus is coz Sherlock pays attention. When Watson was about to ask Sherlock for money but was cut short. Watson cannot afford to pay his own rent, let alone take out a girl for a date. He will obviously welcome any free tickets offered to him. I guess you get good in deciphering things after watching Sherlock

23:45 that is what i feel they do in the Robert Downey Jr. Version of Sherlock Homes. I like that series good enough i suppose, but it annoys me we do not get a chance to get the Aha feeling you get in this. Yes they show you how he fights.. i dont really care about that part. and they show us how he comes to the right conclusions. But they do not show it before they have told you who or what the culprit is. In this we see what Sherlock sees. WHEN he sees it. And we can at least think. "oh. of cause. if i had payed more attention i would have figured that out too."

God... I hte the Mentalist.... mostly because of his main actor. But it was the character that I hated the most.
