The fact that we can get the sort of sound quality we can these days from something like a little inconspicuous usb to 3.5mm with a simple though advanced DAC, super cheap IEMs is really quite remarkable though, and some software can seriously help balance the levels. I mean, who remembers things like the old soundcards, etc? Personally I'd still want range lower than 10hz and a bit higher than 20hz for practical purposes. But then, the bitrate conversion, frequency rate is such a massive factor with range scaling...

Pro X is not the EDX Pro. I have EDX Pro, it is bassy. EDX non pro is not bassy. From the sounds of it pro X is not really successor to EDX Pro.

Make the gel part of right ear buddy or what ever they call them RED 🟥🔴🔺🔻or a good idea would be a RED DOT on it to match the Tube/Valves that they put in them. Sorted.

Definitely too bright for me but for the price I paid, I'm impressed. Thank you for an accurate review. When I tested them out I thought back to this video. I care about bass AND clarity without the highs being harsh. What other budget iem would you recommend?

iems are well designed to your ear and as he was talking about the left and right remark on the iems, so the company doesnt give it bcz it has a design that is above the ears (wires) so if u wear it its ez to distinguish

These will be for me. Not much bass and clarity in front. Something different then previous EDX models and its good. Hope thet KZ does not change the tuning in the last moment...

The high end is actually not necessarily particularly balanced...you'd have to test it yourself for the harmonic tolerance. I can say the EDX (standard) is fairly balanced, though if you REALLY like high frequencies it might not be linear enough.

These are tuned for vocals I heard, similar to teh kz libra. These are not for hip hop, or EDM.

I really like the og Pro, lots of fun, too bad these suck! Unless of course you are one of the many in the community with bass allergies. Then it sucks to be you. I put a red/black marking or paint the qdc connector with nail polish, red for right, black or blue. Sharpie may work. I sometimes paint the connectors on the cables to match the cable better and mark those too if they aren't already.. Especially those clear plastic QDC connectors which make the cables look cheap and you can never read the L/R.. I usually get 2 pin and use those on most my IEMs. I've even "custom painted" a few IEMs with nail polish. Cheap, plenty of colors, convenient, fast, and lasts.

Nah, different taste. These are great for vocals, just like how salnotes zero 1 is great for vocals and instrumental music. and Salnotes zero 2 is great for hip-hop/rap/edm/dubstep. pick one, based on the music u listen too.

Another thing is, don't let the idea of multiple drivers fool you into thinking they're necessarily better than single simplified driver configurations. Extra cables etc often add extra noise, entropy. Elegance in simplicity, so to say. Some well implemented multi drivers might be worth considering though. Those typically have a solid plate or something connecting the drivers.

@@soulxavier Personally, I got Prodipe BR 3000s, Powerworks HPW 300s (upgrades of the Prodipes,, but less expensive, though you can't get them where you live), Alesis SRP 100s, KZ crystal special editions with a 32bit 384khz DAC/ADC, CCA CRA (7hz - 40khz, silver plated cables), some weirdo "HIFI" "6d surround bass" IEMs, an M-Audio Oxygen MK-V (coz the piece of shit Korg Microkey 2 61-key pissed me off with its truncated range 3-4 bit precision, like minimum is 35 and max is 115 on that thing, and it only has like 8-16 different values) for around $250 (and I mean, all of what I mentioned, in total). Not from Amazon or Alixepress, from something with more reliability and better policies, logistics than either of those. Along with my $45 audio interface, etc. Have a good day.

19$? I just ordered them from Ali ex for 5$ , yes the "pro X" version.. I am wondering why they so cheap because i also ordered the KZ zsn pro2 for 19$ with the armature unit 30095, and i'm wondering if i should cancel the cheaper one, or just test them both and give the worser one to my friend because it's so cheap like hell noo when i first bought my Audio-Technica mx headphones my wallet was like : 🤬

I also took 2 cables "QKZ T1" for 5$ each, they looking massive and more attractive, double thickness. And now 10 minutes ago i got with a coupon the "KZ ZSN PRO X" for only 7$ and i added also the T1 cable into the order so it's now 12$ with free shipping 9 days delivery to Poland. So i will get 3 units, two of them i will give my friends, and i will choose the best for me.

They are almost undoubtedly more bright than the EDX pro. But I do not say that with "assurance". Simply based on the frequency range scaling, etc. The EDX pros are apparently some of the "warmer" sounding EDXs. The EDX pro Xs technically, should be able of quite a nice bassy sound if they are EQd, but the range scaling is not ideal (40khz is very high). This is kinda why I opted for the standard EDX and would sort of suggest the EDX pros aren't the worst option either. I'm not sure if the larger driver on the EDX Pro X makes up for the range scaling.
