This is my comparison of the three budget offeringa from KZ!
The ZVX and D-Fi (swtich and non-switch)
I forgot to mention in my video that both the switch and non-switch versions of D-fi have different sizes.
The tunable version os bulkier due to the fact that it has switches on board.
The non-tunable on the other hand is lighter and smaller in comparison.
The ZVX is the most comfortable for me out of the three.
As for the sound, as mentioned in my video. I much prefer the clarity and resolution of the non-tunabale version. They sound the most complete for me.
The ZVX is the smoothest of the three and is very easy to like. It has a warm tinge in the bass and the mids are very organic sounding, with inoffensive treble.
The D-fi tunable version is the most versatile ofcourse. You can choose 16 profiles of tuning. But I do think that the presence dip can sometimes make vocals unnatural sounding. Maybe it's just me.
You can't really go wrong out of the three. I also gave comparisons to more expensive sets in my video.
KZ has done a fantastic job recently. They are again pumping out sets, only that, this time, they are really tuned well.
Will they dominate the market again? It's for your wallet to decide.. peace! 😇
