Thanks for this video, I picked up this same bike, 5k mileage on the motor, original factory tires. Carbs needs work but it was a good find for 700 bucks.

the two screws at 8.20, we had exactly the same issue. We had to drill them out with a left hand drill set, sure was allot of fun.

most of them bikes came lean from the factory ..I usually micro drill the emulsifier pick up tubes from the standard 90° to 130 degrees upsweep so the fuel-air mixture flows through the tube quicker with less resistance and atomizers the fuel better makes it run a bit more snappy and makes it starts better when it's cold .. and just about every bike I've ever had has benefited from punching the main jet out about 1/2-1 full size especially if it has an aftermarket pipe and and sometimes the small jet could benefit from being punched out sometimes I re profile the needle taper or just lift it with a spacer washer if it doesn't have a position clip and sometime I even have to cut the back of the slide but usually they're always pretty close but you got to know how the bike runs through its paces and know how it starts cold/hot to determine what you need to do to it that way

Great advise, thanks.

You put that center T tube in wrong. The branch was favoring the other side when you pulled it apart

I noticed that too but it seems to be working that way.

You need to get a set of left hand drills. Often they’ll catch and pull the screw out.

Oh I didn't think of that, thanks! I thought about drilling it out so an easy out would fit but I like your idea better.

You shouldn't have stopped, just because of that one screw. It might come back to haunt You at a later point that You didn't take out and polish the shaft. I would have zinc plated it too!

If you don't have the JIS screwdrivers and booger up the screw heads, I've cheated and lightly tapped a torx bit into the screw head and got it out that way.
