It's said as letters L.A.B. but the origin of the name is from being a creative laboratory so you're kinda right with both. It was started by Stu & Brad Kora (from band KORA) who then brought in Joel (singer) & Ara (former bassist from KATCHAFIRE). Kora & Katchafire both well known roots-reggae-funk bands in NZ, so a lot of L.A.Bs other songs are more in that genre.

a good friend pointed me to this, just a short while ago. So I consider this a 2024 new song. And I strongly doubt that there will be a better one this year. What a band! I had no idea.
