Just found this version. Have seen them do this live several times. Early 2000's Tim Ripper Owens had a bar in Akron. L.A Guns played there several times. They would roadie their own stuff and walk in just like everyone else. I always said hi to them when they came in. Have pictures with Phil and Stacey Blades. They always interacted with everyone after the show. Took pictures, signed stuff. Very nice guys.

Awesome song....written about Jayne Mansfield who passed at age 33 in automobile accident. Her daughter is the lead detective on Law and Order. My second child who passed in the womb was named Jayne.

Do you ever get overly emotional when you listen to all our old tunes from when we where younger?? I’m having a really hard time with it. I’m torn between wanting to listen to the best music that in my opinion exists this side of heaven and then entering a place of sorrow and longing for those days again. It’s like grieving a death over and over again for me. Such a huge part of my life back then. I went to over 80 concerts between 1982 and 1992!!!!! Between 7th grade a senior year. Clearly my head was not in academics Lol!

She was always something special Diamond shining bright in the rain Everybody dreams of angels No one would ever know How much I love you so Now it all seems funny, kinda like a dream Things ain't always what they seem What a shame, what happened to Jayne You were always on my mind Shine like a summer day in the sun Slowly wishes turn to sadness Time don't heal a broken gun I wish I never let you go Even now I just want you to know That it all seems funny, kinda like a dream Things ain't always what they seem What a shame, what happened to Jayne Now she's breakin' hearts in heaven Shinin' bright in the sky I still hear her voice in the wind I still think of you in the night, oh yeah Well I guess you'll never know How much I need her so Now it all seems funny, kinda like a dream Things ain't always what they seem What a shame, what a shame What happened to Jayne Now it all seems funny, kinda like a dream Things ain't always what they seem What a shame, what happened today What happened today
