I also love pedals that capture some of the classic rack gear tones. These ones sound great to me: Meris Polymoon, Eventide TimeLine, Eventide H9 (for MicroPitch, h949).

I’d add that Eventide MicroPitch Delay pedal is killer, and Free The Tone’s Future Factory delay can be dialed in to sound incredibly close to a 2290.

Killer tones as always! Are the main distortions coming from the Soldano and the Synergy modules? Or is there a unit in this rack that provides distortion as well?

KILLER (and incredibly clean and quiet) system, David- beautiful work, as always. To jump on the back of the earlier "pedal alternative" question, do you still favour the Diamond CPR-1 as a DBX-style comp circuit? For drives, XTS Atomic OD or Sinvertek?

Thank you. Very close. Not as creamy and smooth as the X88. The Synergy is a bit more mid forward.

@@mrrodin2 Have tried to get some 240v D1500s but they have risen in price a fair bit and hard to get on that voltage. Sde3000s are way too expensive now too unfortunately.

@@danec1384 well, roland sde-330 will do the job too. And its stereo, so you only need one. You can always use 220/110 transformer. And I recently got Ibanez SDR 1000 + for 100$. Sony made unit. Its a reverb unit, but has cool stereo delay setting
