I feel this will be the same as the "Maui" fires. For the few houses that made it thru the fire, it will be too toxic for those to return home. Also it will take years to clean up all the toxins from the ground, before they can rebuild. It will probably take years to re-build. This should have never happened, there should have been water to put out the fires. Even if this area always has a shortage of water, something should have been in place to have some water available esp in fire seaon. This is such a horrifice loss and what a scary experience for everyone involved. I feel bad for all the animals that went thru this fire also. I really feel like the fire would not have been so bad if they had more water available, etc. Things need to change there, they need to put in protocols to make sure this does not happen like this again. Prayers to everyone in CA. I can't imagine having to go thru this. What a horrible experience for everyone involved.

They're still misinformed. They blame all disasters on conspiracies and they will blame this one on lasers, drones, dei, immigrants, minorities, aliens, or joe Biden himself. They are conditioned to see any unusual weather not as the climate change it is but as some nefarious plot. Like the hurricanes they blamed on everything except the warmer ocean. Now they don't blame the drought, intense hot dry wind outside of fire season.

What happened to the individual running around with a flame thrower in this inferno. That story disappeared real quick. Global warming is a good cover up for having your resources underfunded. Should have used sanctuary money to be prepared. The elected officials in cities like Los Angeles and New York are pathetic.
@lostwanderer664913 күн бұрын
So who are you blaming for the fires, an arson, the wind, the politicians?
@jossphcohen72413 күн бұрын
@lostwanderer6649 unpreparedness Arson. Fires broke out in to many areas. Resivores not on line fire department underfunded. No water in certain areas. And homeless people running around neighborhoods they don't even live in with flame throwers.
@lostwanderer664913 күн бұрын
@jossphcohen724 So predict before crime happens, make sure fires can only happen in domestic areas, construct self repairing reservoirs, and make sure not take 2% of firefighting budget into paramedic training and recruitment. Got it, you want them to predict the future, build whats not invented yet and to make sure other firefighting efforts are only for fire fighting and not medical or search and rescue. Do you want them to create water out of air while we're making the list?
@jossphcohen72413 күн бұрын
@lostwanderer6649 southern California doesn't even know who and how many undocumented individuals they have running around. Thank God I don't live out there. Their funds are poorly allocated. California's economy alone is larger than many nations they have the money. That sanctuary money could have minimized some of this.

Facts no one is talking about: 1. Smoking is the leading cause of deadly fires. 2. More people in California smoke marijuana than in any other state. 3. Practically every time I hike in the Hollywood hills I see someone smoking a joint, despite the NO SMOKING signs. Then they pitch it on the ground when they're done. 4. We know the Palisades fire started in an open area where hikers sometimes go, where there were no power lines or any other obvious way for a fire to ignite. But if you point out these facts, you're "uncool."
@Blondiegirl-g2e13 күн бұрын
Sorry, no one listens to facts in Cali. The left cult is real.
@basketballhistory615113 күн бұрын
Well then it really wasn't the smoking then was it, it was the littering. People still smoke regular cigarettes too, just in case everyone forgot. Cali literally refused water because of environmentalists saving a fish, but yet you want to blame stoners. SMH. The legalization of pot is one of the few cultural laws they've pushed for that actually make sense. Saving that fish, not so much. Keeping better firefighters off of the force, and hiring DEI hires, not so much. The writing was on the wall, all sorts of people had made the correct determination that this was going to happen if nothing was done, yet, nothing was done. But, sure, yeah, just blame the stoners!
