I love what feels like the little footnotes of the Infernal Forge. It’s got incredible attack damage and can launch enemies in the air, and then you say “It can also be used as a pickaxe! :D”

A Minecraft character is a very good contender to being a Doom slayer if you think about it: • Is very strong and can break open mountains with their bare fists given enough time • Resillient to pain (since they function totally fine even at low health) • Has been through hell and back • Is intelligent • Can master any weapon given to them • Is practically god Unlike the Doom slayer, your Minecraft character can modify the world to their will even if you only use vanilla means like command blocks and data packs, so that's an added bonus.

I’ve fought Ignis once before in a modpack. I honestly think that the boss is incredibly unfair, as the debuff that removes armor allows him to kill you extremely easily no matter how good your armor is. That combined with the shield, lifesteal, and the grab attack, make the boss basically impossible unless you are stacked with potions, enchanted golden apples, and can somehow avoid getting hit at all.

It really does sound unfair. I bet this could be possible with epic fight or better combat though, since they allow you to roll away. For me? I’ll just stick with Timeless and Classics Guns and mow Ignis down if I can.

@@brawler5760 Epic Fight makes the fight really fun. I used a Netherite Greatsword with Energizing Guard, and it worked really well

i played on 1.18.2 and the boss was fine the damage is harsh but you dont need potions regular golden apples work fine

Do you know why when he grabs me, I just get permanently stuck floating above him and cant move until he's dead? I can't figure it out and apparently nobody else on the internet has ever had this issue based on my searches. Me commenting this is literally my last hope for someone to know how to fix this

God this makes me want a weapon progression mod in Minecraft, something akin to terraria. Add classes and boom, you have a terraria equivalent in Minecraft. I don’t want this as an update or anything, since that would change the way Minecraft is played and viewed, a but a mod like that, adding new classes with different play styles and weapons would be so cool.

Balance of ignis armor is non existing. Netherite armor players will die by trying to kill ignis armored player by its hidden thorns effect alone Armor is fully unbreakable too Bosses were quite fun, sadly there is no way to respawn them so i had issues with one player killing off nearly all bosses on my server
