All we need is a proper Constitution, such as the old Scottish Constitution, where the People actually rule. So MP's know their place, Servants not Masters. So that important matters are put to a full vote; such as entry to the EU, such as Hate Bills, etc. We have to have a democracy, and that means politicians have to listen to us, that the voice of reason must not be ignored.
