Hello from San Diego! Here's a gentle suggestion. Please don't mind me giving unsolicited advice:) U can boil the potatoes, mash them gently the way u showed, & bake them at 400 degrees F for 5-8 mins, flipping them in between & then do the tempering the way u demonstrated. Believe me when I say, u have the same crispy taste, minus the oil:). Please forgive me if u think my advice was rude. Thank u for sharing:)
