നേരായ മാര്‍ഗം എന്നതുകൊണ്ടു താന്‍ വിവക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് ആരുടെ വഴിയാണ് എന്ന് അടിമതന്നെ വിശദീകരിക്കുകയാണ്. നബിമാര്‍, സ്വിദ്ദീഖുകള്‍, ശുഹദാഅ്, സ്വാലിഹുകള്‍ എന്നിവരാണവര്‍ (ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ 4:99). അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹത്തിന്നു പാത്രീഭൂതരായവര്‍ ഇവരാണെന്ന് അവിടെ സ്പഷ്ടമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ കോപത്തിനു വിധേയരായവര്‍ ജൂതന്മാരും (2:61; 3:111) വഴി പിഴച്ചു പോയവര്‍ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളുമാണ്. (5:77). കുറ്റകൃത്യങ്ങളും ദുര്‍മാര്‍ഗജീവിതവും വഴി സത്യമാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിന്നു വ്യതിചലിക്കുകയും തന്മൂലം ദൈവകോപത്തിന്നു വിധേയമാവുകയും ചെയ്ത മറ്റേതു ജനവിഭാഗവും ഇതിലുള്‍പ്പെടും
