Good information and quite educational to newcomers. What is the best way to deal with mole in the garden?

We are not expert at all. But I know that moles are very sensitive with smell. Putting something with bad smell in the tunnel if you really need to get rid of them.

Canaan K have moved in the house recently and tried several methods including ground coffee, chilly and such not quite successful….. just trying not to kill the animal with poison pills.

Not sure if he's into photography, we know some bird watchers too! They have a book to record the birds they see every year. Often they travel to the sea or hike a long way to see a bird, it's really extreme for the competitive ones!

I suggest contact the local council first before starting on such endeavor! I am sure every local council do have by-laws for that part of the city! You have to consider what your neighbors......

I don't agree about the part that we are living in their land. I mean, who said it was their land and how to distinguish whose lands is it. I agree the part of respecting others eventhough its a small ants. But to me, in macro perspectives everyone including all living things were just "borrow" this land to live, not belongs to this or that. But in micro perspectives, the place or land only served the powered one. Such as a Lion's home is a lion's home, it won't be a former home of this or that.

That's Ian's personal choice and I don't know😅. Many people are very against animal cruelty, a lot has changed since the past. For example people now use clay pigeon rather than real pigeons for shooting, that was made illegal in 1920s. There is a lot more we can do and we all need to improve. ☺️
