The image at 3:30 reminded me of the fact that the Cucuteni culture was the first civilization that used the yin and yang and the swastika symbols - Cucuteni is in Iasi county in RO.

And would have been nice to go to Sarmizegetuza Regia too, it's not far from Deva and Corvin Castle.

I didn't know that those symbols are first used in Romanian culture and yes it's true that this image looks like yin and yang symbol! I wish I knew about Sarmizegetuza Ragia before planning this trip, but I'll surely go for next time. This place seems really nice and interesting to visit. Thank you for great informations😊

@@JapaneseinEasternEurope Yeah in Romania there are lots of things you can visit and it's not always easy to find out about them, not too far from Corvin Castle there is also Pestera cu Oase ( the cave with bones) and it's where human remains that are about 40k years old were discovered - 40k is kinda very old for Europe. When searching for things to visit, maybe try to search online in Romanian as in any other languages it's hard to find much, maybe search for - Obiective turistice in Judetul (insert county name here) , it means touristic objective in ... county ( a county is kinda like the equivalent of a prefecture). The results will be a bunch of lists and look at more than just the first 2-3 results and you'll find almost everything you might want to visit. Except what's on the mountains actually, if you like to hike, other tools are needed. And have you tried Romanian soups, Romania has lots of soups but usually people tend to not be aware that not all cultures do so they don't mention them or at most they mention beans soup and tripe soup. Anyway, hope you are enjoying your time in Romania and if you have any questions, please do ask.

I see. I will still have chances to visit more places because I'm living and working in Romania, next time when I can go trip for holidays I'll try what you told me. Also Romanian soup sounds interesting, I tried several times but only ones with beans and tripes as you said. I'll ask my Romanian friends and hopefully I will make another video about it. Thank you for watching and comments ✨

@@JapaneseinEasternEurope Here's a few soups but there are plenty more Supă cu găluște - this is a clear chicken broth but instead of noodles there are some semonloa dumplings - ofc there is noodle soups too (supa cu teitei) Ciorbă de perișoare (meatball soup) Ciorbă de lobodă (red orach soup) - this one also has rice in it Ciorbă de salată ( lettuce soup) - this one might have egg and smoked meat and sour cream Wild mushroom sour soup Fish soup - ideally in the Danube Delta Tomato soup Supa pasata aka crema de legume Ciorba Radauteana - this is somewhat similar to the tripe soup but without the tripe Oh and most soups are sour and most of those are eaten with bread but a lot of foreigners tend to not eat enough bread with them so if it's too much sourness, balance it with bread please. And nice that you can visit more things. And if i may, so there are some nice cities but rural is also important in Romania as urbanization is relatively low. And there is the nature, lots of mountains, the Danube Delta and so on. Plenty of ruins/fortifications, Dacian, Roman and some others plus newer ones so medieval. Lots of lakes, waterfalls, caves, mineral water and plenty of thermal springs. Lots of very important churches, the fortified churches in Transylvania, wooden churches in Maramures, painted churches in Moldova and some more. Biggest composer George Enescu, sculptor Brancusi , poet Eminescu. And there are traditions and culture and so on too ofc. And the food, hundreds of dishes so there is plenty you can try. Many things are best home made though. Just a very quick summary. And also the wine is pretty good and there are other specific stronger drinks. Sana is also specific to Romania, it's kinda kinda like kefir and sour milk but a bit different. Elderflower lemonade is kinda like a home made soda but in some restaurants might be made with syrup and sparkling water so not quite as good as home made.
