My fondest memory of clear sky is when the 3rd one was playing during a firefight between me and some bandits. The music became slower when I dove into cover, the beats matching to my reload, then shot straight back into the fast beats the moment I opened fire again. Reminds me of the music behaviour in DOOM, Loved it.

Theme 2 is very epic and action-intensive, Theme 3 is the most fitting for STALKER and is also very epic, and Theme 1 is a middle ground. Theme 3 is the best imo.

@@thelightside77 all of the combat music in clear sky is split into dozens upon dozens of files the game throws together according to your play-style (less chaotic when you're hiding from an enemy, more chaotic the more confrontational you are), and those files are referred to as "stems". all 3 themes in this video were made by meticulously arranging those "stems" in a way that makes sense as regular music

Idk, i like Clear Sky more than Shadow of Chornobyl (Chornobyl, not Chernobyl)or Call of Pripyat. This atmosphere when you go through red forest, this bloodsucker's scream, army of snorks, and you without patrons... Plot is actually more interesting than in CoP, but level of hardcore is annoying sometimes. This background and fighting music is hella good too. I dont know why everyone hate this part, but i like it most
