This is actually a pretty neat drone. It is like the parrot being able to go up and down 90 degrees each way. The Capitan going the extra mile, braving the freezing cold for us!! For $279 you can even get it with three batteries! Yes there are options. I think if it wasn't so cold you wouldn't be getting the radical changes in altitude either. Sure it's only 2K, but the FUN factor is there for sure!

It is a very *hilarious* entry-level drone that costs very less! Only 300 dollars, and you get an entertaining drone with a usable camera which can turn 90° up and down which is so cool, with a kilometre range, follow me mode, funny orbit mode, VR mode, hilarious waypoint mode and also apptoximately 25 mins battery life with a power of 1,800 mAh which is amazing! Even though it weighs a bit more than 250 grams, I like this drone in which controller (which is beautiful too) disconnects automatically when the drone takes off and also reminds to land the drone by beeping while it is already on the ground. 😂👍 It is pretty fast for its size too! Its very good to see this unique funny drone!!!

It's not the cold. I flew it a few days ago and ended up crashing into my house breaking an arm. Check my video. It wasn't that cold. It has a barometer and GPS issue. I've seen it in a coupe reviews. Too bad. I like the cool factor and the video was surprisingly stable, but if not in a wide open area, you will crash this into something. Thanks for the review.

I can read Mandarin. In the manual it says: Open the box. Remove the drone. Attach the two other arms that are at the bottom in the smaller box to assemble your quadcopter.

Thumbs up dude, on one of the funniest "Drone videos ever." It's more of the awkward design of the drone then anything else. I honestly believe I'd be better off with a more conventional 4 prop drone with proven performance as the one your demoing is like something from the Movie Avatar. "It's cool," but not better then some of the otherwise older, and proven drones on the market.

Hey Cap - You should use some of those spare battery packs and buy yourself some heated gloves and a heated jacket. As for this, at $239 I think thats a pretty good deal - especially versus that bonkers V-Kopter thing that was about $1400! I'd rather crash several of these than buy a V-Kopter...

The cold is definitely a problem for us Canadians. The DJI Mini 2 did okay in the cold, but they warn against doing it.

Data and intelligence collection abilities will be less effective for the C Cp during sub zero and likewise flights. Dj 👁️ is a arm of the monster funding the See CP you see, see Cyrus A Parsa for details on the company and what you are participating in using those brand products. Damn shame I know because obviously they make them just about perfect, all models and the quality is awesome, that's the idea in getting everyone to buy them though right, right 👍.

Well, based on that review.... I may not purchase this drone lol. That may not be a fair assessment but it seemed pretty unstable and wonky. I think I will wait until you or another reviewer tries again in warmer weather. After flying the DJI's and the Hubsan's it's difficult to get excited about drones that can't go very far or have unreliable characteristics. I must say the comic relief in this video was stellar! I'm glad you kept all your digits and your head. It was a little "touch and go" there for awhile.... Great video ,thanks Steve. Ciao!

Hi Captain, a couple of questions on this drone since I just received mine: 1. The QR code in the included manual links to a dead page/domain. Based on your video. I searched for and have been using VS GPS PRO (iOS), but is this the official app to use? 2. The above mentioned app says my drone’s current firmware is “4.04_44” (same as I saw yours was in the video review). With that version I’ve experienced the same slow/low GPS acquisition and unstable flight characteristics. There is a firmware update option in the app listing a new version of “013.009.F5BE-0x771”. I’d love to see if this improves the drone, but I’m hesitant to update due to the non-similarity of version numbers and having seen another KZbin post claiming that it bricked their unit. Have you tried updating?
