yes, it provides cleaning and priming, and prevents drying of ink within the printhead :)

I lost the tiny spring. Do you think it is an issue?. Printhead barely prints and when I do head clean I barely see any ink going to the capping station and the external waste tank. Is it because the small spring is missing?

@@waceembroidery2645 I did buy a new spring and had to actually install a new print head. That was my main issue, which I didn’t realize at the time. Now it’s printing like new again.

How do I put the capping station ink pad back on? Having a hard time connecting the two lines/tubes back to it.

just use your to finger to hold the tube, or you can use curv twizzer also

i found my l1800 faded white, but when i clean the capping station, the white colour is coming good, but still inconsistent, but yeah it turn good everytime, is it normal to do like your video as a monthly routine ? is the capping station i mean the sponge need really good care ?

hi friend, before you print, suck the white damper using syringe then run clean :)

Hi, thanks for the instructions! Unfortunately, when I clean the head, the bubbles come back in the station :(. I tried flushing the two small tubes with cleaning fluid, but it can only flush them now with the left one, not the right one. Is that supposed to be the case? Thank you

@@sherylshahan5593 Yes, the cause was sediment in the tubing under the Capping Station. I disassembled the whole thing and pulled the sediment out. I recommend a regular hand flush with at least distilled water.

prevents the ink in the Print Head Nozzles from drying, protecting the Print Heads to keep them functional.

Good video, I recently purchased a L1800 from Pro-Colored and they shipped it without a piece of foam in the capping station and I just recently noticed when I was going to wet cap because I was already having some nozzle issues. Is this something that companies are doing now or was this a complete mistake? I assume you can't really wet cap a station unless you have a piece of foam to hold some capping solution against the printhead. Is there any way to get that little great off of without destroying it to put a piece of foam in?
