Well, looks like you miss Vital Point hits here? at 0:18 you doing 91511, 16565, 30383, 28779 and 95431- all without circlet proc.

All the hits are in the plots (since its auto logged from client), the labels I didn't care too much about, its enough to see there are "4 tiers" of damage, which can be used to compare between builds.

Well I have to dissagree with the opinion STR>DEX and I wil explain: I am GH 89 with 70 STR + 65 DEX (3xSTR + 5, DEX +5) and I get: +200 crit damage from 70 STR p.critical rate +50 from 50 DEX p.skill cooldown from 60 DEX p.atk +10% when using a dagger from 65 DEX Vital Point attack rate +20% from 65 DEX from DEX points I get by default +attack speed (limit now in assassination patch is 2000), +p.crit rate, +p. skill crit rate, +accuracy, +evasion, + vital point attack rate from 4th DEX dye in stage 11 = +5 DEX I also get Received p. skill critical rate +3.6% with a potentional to go stage 20 for Received P. Skill Critical Rate -7.2% and Soulshot damage +4%. Vital point attack rate with these dyes goes to ~101.4% > 68% with 90 STR With full STR setup: 91 STR + 47 DEX I get: +10% skill power from STR points I get by default +p attack and skill critical damage which does affect the damage on blows but not significantly. The ammount of p attack I get is ~=+10% p attack which is the same bonus from Rogue Agility lv. 1 which activates when I hit DEX = 65. So the question is: Is it worth to sacrifice so many stats (vital point attack rate, attack speed, p critical rate, p skill critical rate, evasion, accurasy) for +10% skill power? If you look at the damage charts, yes, it is worth it. You are free to disagree the numbers, which is the only and undeniable proof. See those stats you listed look nice on paper, but in reality its a lot of horseshit when it comes to actual damage. Also regarding skill power, its not static 10%. The higher skill power you already have (from other sources) the more this "10%" will actually be. This is something I never documented in a video, that really should have. But since I am done with essence, I hope someone else will do it eventually.

Interesting, i also did a similar test on a beta server, when I did it, dex dmg became similar to str when I managed 85+ dex, anyway, that is a very late game possibility only, so for all the guys out there that wanna go dagger in essence I rec STR. I didn't saw how dex is affecting the rate of vital hits tho, in a 1x sever until lvl 78 u will miss some skills and its frustrating for pve. Anyway, STR>DEX in my opinion

DEX utility in daggers is for survival, it is obvious you wont get more dmg than with a STR build.

man i dont know if you see have error on this test, the passive skill of dagger bonus dex not active correct, you can see this,when you remove you first dye dex, you patck up from 5,9k for 6,4k, and the skill chance from no bonus for bonus lvl 1 ( you can see in bufs the change ) well if you dont got bonus from 75 dex, like more patck and more chance to skil critical , ofcorse the test not have the real acuracy, i remember next some updates nc did solved it , before updates all time for got bonus i need remove and equip set light . please make new video now for compare correct, ty bro

vital point is a stat that refers to blow skills, so vital point attack rate means blows landing rate

wind rider just beats in any escenario adv/ghost hunter the only way a ghost hunter was able to beat a wind rider was with the old counter attack that reflects 100% of the dmg recieved but nowdays with only 10% reflect feels like garbage in the other side wind rider just has better stats and almost impenetrable evasion with dodge+ windriding, archers dk etc, talking ofc about a very late game wind rider
