If we are talking about identical particles, what is the significance of the order? What is an experiment that reveals the order of states? I know there's a proof that shows quantum math can't handle that, but does that really mean we need to invent a whole new vector space to force it to make nice, or is it just an indication that something is fishy in the assumptions we use in quantum math? I can't imagine how you would read out the particle order without spatially separating the particles... and that breaks the definition of the problem anyway! Someone please explain this to me!
