There is a soprano sax, two altos and one tenor. The band was hand picked by Senri Kawaguchi (the drummer).

Glad you enjoyed it. Juna the bass player also plays with Sina and a band called the Tokyo Rush another all Japanese female jazz fusion band. She recently moved to Cal. and works as a studio musician there Ill request a Tokyo Rush song this coming month and you will see how good she really is

Dou itashimashite I spent a year in Japan loved it there This was back in 71-72 when I was stationed at MCAS Iwakuni Almost re upped to get to sty there Senri is maybe the best drummer around today and Juna is a top notch bass player. Tokyo groove youshi is another good band Juna is in

I was ready to sneer expecting more boring generic "fuzak" - Jazz Avengers is obvs a reference to the seminal 70s Jazz Crusaders - but damn this was so well done I can't complain. So much talent and feel on display here.

I almost didn't watch, So very glad I did...But...now cut me some slack, I am 69, they should have been called "The Horny Girls"....lol, so amazing....bassist needs some slappin lessons....lol Loved It! Keep on man!
