the thing with India and Russia is that every time in the past when India had trouble with international diplomacy, Russia helped example war of 1971 Russia send its nuclear submarines to counter USA's 7th fleet Russia did veto multiple times to save India during India's nuclear test Russia helped us with affordable weapons and because of Russia china doesn't take drastic action against India

As for language, mostly Indians are multilingual as English and Hindi are compulsory in most of the schools and then you can also opt for some regionals language like punjabi, Tamil, odia etc as per your state and school. I'm from the capital Delhi so in my school particularly i had Sanskrit ( the ancient Indian language and the mother of all languages), German, French and Spanish.

India and Israel have top notch relations to the point that India develops weapons like the Barak-8 missile in collaboration with Israel (similar to how UK made Typhoon fighter with Germany). But at the same time, India supported Iran even when USA sanctioned Iran, India continued to trade with Iran. Turkey tried to do what India does and buy S-400 air defence system from Russia. USA threatened both Turkey and India with CATSAA sanctions. But both nations ignored the threat and bought the S-400. In the end, Turkey got sanctioned but not India. USA provided a special waiver to India. That is the power of Indian diplomacy. Turkey got sanctioned even though it is a NATO ally of USA. But India did not get sanctioned even though it is not a formal military ally of USA.
