As someone who has worked retail, here on the US, there is a thing called, "facing". Employees have to go around and pull the merchandise to the front of the shelves. It's to make it look nice and full. It makes it more pleasant to shop.

@@princesstelevision67this. Depending on sales you could get carts of similar things at Target and Walmart and they’d balance in price. The clothes (when not on sale and let’s face it sales happen constantly) might be a smidge more expensive but they’ll generally be a better quality product so they’ll last longer. But then people think Trader Joe’s is expensive until they go to one and then are surprised at the value and the quality. I think Target and Trader Joe’s are also better at getting people to spend on things they didn’t plan on than Walmart is, so therefore more “expensive” only because of that.

The "Super" in Super-Target's and Super-Walmart's means that they are a combined department store AND full grocery store (Plus various other businesses ie. small restaurant like McDonalds, mini bank, eye glasses and optomitrist, nail salon etc). Prior to the late 90's/early 2000's Walmart had always been just a dept. store with very limited grocery tems. It was the same for Target up until about 10 or 15 years ago, then they decided to follow WalMarts lead. Most WalMart's are "Super" stores now, but the majority of Target's are still primarily a departtment store with a limited grocery section.

Miss Lora, I disagree based soley upon my own experience. My closest Walmart sells very little groceries, and as for fresh foods, they sell bananas and oranges, not much in the way of staples like peanut butter. It isn’t somewhere you could stock your kitchen unless you only eat chips. My nearest Target sells a reasonable selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, in addition to a decent selection of grocery staples, peanut butter, canned soups, cake mix, etc. Neither is a Super store, both are regular stores. We have a Walmart Neighborhood Center nearby too, and even though it’s only a grocery store, they don’t care very much produce either. You must live in Arkansas, lol.

Hey Lewis I've been working at Target for 15 years! I pick online orders my entire shift. Saying how stocked and nice it is, is cool to hear. Target is definitely nicer than Walmart and not as crazy. Way more organized and clean. We say guests instead of customers. So like Guest Service instead of Customer Service. The hangers actually come in more colors during the back to college season. You're right about the eggs being in open cooler shelves. The Starbucks items aren't creamers, it's actually ready to drink iced coffee. Some comments talk about the face or "zone" as we call it. For the examples you paused on, we actually have something called "zone assist" that pushes the product forward once an item is taken. Any shelves with the thin black strip at the front have this. So honestly there could be a single item in each spot. So not necessarily fully stocked. We do have a team(crew) that comes in at 4am to unload a trailer and stock the shelves. I love how Adam said the store slogan "Expect more, pay less. It's so true" Also I saw other comments you missed the Halloween shirt. That's some foreshadowing.

7:36 I worked as a Stocker at Walmart. Making sure the Aisles look good and full at all times is a full-time job. People get paid to essentially roam a section and "Face" everything. A.K.A. Make the aisles look good and the items easy to reach. And that is probably one of the most important jobs in the store. I did overnight so it was a little different, but the first hour or two of our shift, was to "Face" a section so the store will already look good when the doors open, then we get replaced by day time stockers. So, we get everything good to go at night, then the daytime stockers have what they need to Handle stocking throughout the day. Stocking never stops, and Good Stockers are kind of like "Aisle Artists" and make you want to be in their aisle. At my store there was a lot of friendly competition, which motivates everybody to work harder and have fun. Overnight stocking at Walmart, was legitimately one of the best jobs I ever had.

If it is raining she didn't even have to get out of her car. Now that is service.

Part of the reason we have so many Target stores etc that cater to “one stop shopping” is because of the long hours we work. It makes it more convenient to stop for groceries or a prescription etc.

Everyone I know with a Roomba has named theirs and they are super attached to theirs. Whenever we hear ours stuck and makes that "Error" sound, we both feel sad and go rescue it. 😂😂 Makes me appreciate things here more now. To me, this is just an average Super Target. We were just at our local "normal" Target buying hangers and never thought of it special. Also I don't know if it's just my experience but Targets always seem empty until you get to the checkout line. 😀

Get your Starbucks, get a cart and stroll around. You can get furniture, clothes, shoes, electronics, outdoor gear, books, food, beverages, alcoholic beverages, snacks, light bulbs, toys, pet food, pharmaceuticals, visit the optometrist, the garden center, pick up all baby related stuff, school supplies, hygiene products and cosmetics. For example, my last trip to Target I purchased chicken, pasta, chips, soda, multivitamins, laundry detergent, a few shirts, ice cream, coffee creamer, Polaroid film and a towel warmer. It’s pretty great and convenient. But there is something to be said about specialty shops and local markets, those are pretty great too.

Also, I've worked in stores like this. It is probably more stocked in American stores. But... we also do a thing called fronting. It's where you pull everything to the front to create a flush, pretty wall of product. Research shows that if your shelves look picked over, people buy less.

Walmart super center is much, much larger. It has a bank, a subway, a nail salon, a hair salon, a mini supermarket with a sizable bakery section and a deli fresh cut section. It also has a nursery where they sell a variety of plants, and an automotive shop where you can drop off your car to get fixed. You can literally cash your check, get your hair and nails done, eat, do some grocery and home shopping and if necessary have an oil change. 😂 I kid you not.

That’s actually probably not the whole aisle because there aren’t very many colors of hangers…I bet the other side of it are hangers also… plus we need other types of hangers like wood, satin/padded hangers for lingerie etc… pants, hangers, skirt, hangers, hangers for little kids hangers for medium kids lots of colors, especially little baby girls, little baby boys, older boys with primary colors, hot pink for teenage girls and more!! He just needs to ask someone, that’s all, just ask someone oh he found them. Yay!! 😂😂😂 I love this guy. He’s so much fun!! Once again, Louis fantastic video we have so much fun you bring lightness and joy to our evenings.😂😂 Thank you for your videos Lew!! Hope you have a happy Halloween!! 👻 🎃 👻 🎃 👻 🎃 Don’t feel bad we LOVE the UK and Europe!! Back then? Depending on the Walmart near me, they either have a McDonnalds, a Subway, a Domino's, or a Burger King. That's just looking at a handful of Walmarts within 100 miles. They also have the Tire and Lube express where you can buy tires get an oil change or basic mechanic work done, They have a vision center for getting eye exams and filling prescriptions for glasses, they have a pharmacy, they a hair salon, the department store and grocer. All Walmarts I checked that are NOT 'neighborhood grocers' have sporting goods sections that sell guns but Walmart gun policy is pretty strict (there are better places to buy guns). And just to clarify what I mean by strict: Walmart does not sell handguns (at any Walmart except maybe for Alaska as far as I am aware) nor do they sell Ammo for handguns or specific caliber of rifles. No 5.56 NATO, no 7.62*39, no .223 and really the ammo selection isn't great. You can pick up most shotgun ammo, and most common hunting rounds. The background check they run is the same as anywhere, but you cannot PERSONALLY walk out of the store with the gun you purchased, a manager walks it out of the store with you. These are just store policies because other stores in the state sell a much larger variety of these things.

2:29 Roombas are incredible inventions! They vacuum when you tell it to. Not as powerful as a regular vacuum/hoover, but does pick up pet hair, dust/dirt, so you only have to pull out the big vacuum once a week instead of everyday (if you have a pet, you know). They're funny when they run into a step down. Usually, they know a "ledge" and turn away from it. But sometimes they tip down the step. It start hollering "I've fallen off a cliff!" My only problem is with the amount of dust/hair it holds. When we run it, we have to stop it every hour or so to clean out the trap, then send it on its way. When its done, it goes back to the docking station for recharge.

We have walk in closets in America and we use a lot of hangers. There are many different types of hangers. We have plastic, metal, velvet, wood and cloth covered hangers. We even have padded hangers. I am a person who prefers the hangers covered in velvet because they keep the clothing from sliding off of the hanger. I also like cedar hangers because cedar keeps moths out of your closet. So I use a mix of both in my closets.
