Summary: Judicial Review can be done even if the law is made a part of schedule 9 . This was decided in this case. Earlier laws placed under schedule 9 were immune to Judicial Review. So if any law which appears to violate basic structure doctrine and even if part of schedule 9 can be brought for judicial Review.

The cases which are before 24/04/1973 are safe from Judicial Review. (This time Art. 368 is more powerful than Art 13) But cases after 24/04/197... Cases should be re examined under judicial review. (Because judicial review got power as basic structure of doctrine, which we or parliament can't touch at any cost).

In the I.R. Coelho case, the Supreme Court decided that any law included in the 9th schedule after 24 April 1973, are open to Judicial Review. However, any law added before the date, are not available for Judicial Review as Judicial Review was considered as a part of the Basic Structure Doctrine in the Kesavananda Bharti v. State of Kerala and applicable only afterward.
