It was B.G Varghese who represented India in MacBride commission initiated by UNESCO in 1977. He is the same person who chairperson of Varghese Committee which recommended to grant full autonomy to Akashvani and Durdarshan in 1977.

Article 11: Presumption of Innocence Everyone charged with a penal offense has the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. 12. Article 12: Right to Privacy No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with their privacy, family, home, or correspondence. 13. Article 13: Freedom of Movement Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state. 14. Article 14: Right to Asylum Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy asylum from persecution in other countries. 15. Article 15: Right to a Nationality Everyone has the right to a nationality. 16. Article 16: Right to Family Everyone has the right to marry and to found a family, with equal rights. 17. Article 17: Right to Property Everyone has the right to own property alone as well as in association with others. 18. Article 18: Freedom of Thought, Conscience, and Religion Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion. 19. Article 19: Freedom of Opinion and Expression Everyone has the right to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive, and impart information. 20. Article 20: Right to Assembly and Association Everyone has the right to peaceful assembly and association. 21. Article 21: Right to Participate in Government Everyone has the right to take part in the government of their country, directly or through freely chosen representatives. 22.
