The legend in Mexico is She is married and has two children but when she found out that her husband was cheating on her she took her children and drowned both of them in a fit of rage and when she stopped what she was doing she was consumed by guilt and regret and she drowned herself as well and when she wanted to enter the Afterlife they said she couldn’t because she didn’t have her children with her and that her children’s souls were still wandering on Earth so she was sent back here to find her poor children’s souls 🥀🖤

i live in Pakistan, and the Pakistani version of la llorona goes like this: When you walk or roam around the streets of Karachi at night around 2 or 3 am, then you would often see a women wearing a red dress looking around for her kids or husband i dunno. Men mostly see her because she can attract men, women rarely see her for i dunno what reason :/.

My grandma grow up in a tight comunity in New Mexico, and she would tell me and my brothers stories, most of it was how she had to work hard in school and in work, but one of my favorites was her stories of how she claims she herd the La Llorona. She says that once a month or so, the whole comunity would go dead silent and still, and a horrible dephining scream could be heard and it would last for a few minute. When it was over, people would ask their neighbors if their children were safe, and if they heard the Llorona. My grandma told me the original story when I was little to teach me to be careful around water like other parents do in New Mexico, and safe to say this story still interests me and sometimes even scares me.

Have you heard of a Japan Urban Legend called 'The Coin Locker'? I think there are different versions of this but this is the one that I know: There were a couple of a boyfriend and a girlfriend. They were very happy and enjoyed each other's company. The boy was named 'Hanakō' and the girl was called 'Emiko'. One day, Emiko found out that she was pregnant! This was a major problem because Emiko and Hanakō were very young (I think they were about 14 or 15) so Hanakō broke up with Emiko and said, "Take care of the baby yourself!" And disappeared. 9 months later, Emiko's beautiful baby boy was born. Emiko loved him but she, of course, was very young and her newly found job of being a waitress couldn't be enough to afford a life with him. So Emiko picked up her baby and ran to a nearby train station. When no one was looking, Emiko shoved her baby (by the name of: Asata) into a coin locker and locked it quickly. With tears streaming down her flustered pink face, Emiko ran home full of shame and guilt. 6 years past and Emiko had already forgotten about Asata. But one day.........Emiko was sent by her mother to go and collect a book inside a storage cabinet in the train station that Asata was left in! Emiko did what she was told and went to the train station and picked up the book. She headed for the exit as it was late at night and everyone was asleep, she suddenly heard crying. She followed the sound and it led her to a janitor's closet. Inside, was a crying 6 year old boy. Emiko felt sorry for him so she bent down next to him and pleaded, "What's wrong?...........................Why are you here?.................................Who's your mother?" The boy suddenly stopped and looked up at Emiko with hell in his eyes and said in a deep, scary tone, "You are," It was Asata! He went in for the kill with a knife but Emiko was quick and she got possessed by the same rage as Asata so she turned the knife around and stabbed Asata atleast 27 times! When the rage went away, Emiko realised what she had done and cried for 5 hours straight. She picked up Asata's corpse and hugged it tight then carried it to the same coin locker she had put him in 6 years ago. Emiko first climbed into it then placed Asata beside her then because of all the guilt and shame, Emiko stabbed herself in the neck and died. From that night, Emiko was MIA-Missing In Action. A few months later, The train station got knocked down and one builder found the bloody corpses of Emiko and her beautiful little Asata, crammed inside a coin locker.... This took forever, please do this TikTak!!!!

In Philippines we have “Maria Labo”. It was an urban legend. It tells you the story of a once caring mother and wife who cooked her own children and offer the cooked flesh to her husband. Maria then realize what she was done and cried with the loss of her children. But the husband went furious as he found out. He grabbed the “labo” (an ilonggo word meaning bolo knife) and stabbed Maria on her face. She run away and never return. Until today she is said to roam all over the Philippines in search for her next meal. Children were scared and told by the adults to not leave their slippers outside since Maria Labo can smell their scent and will be her next victim if she can have their slippers.

I'm agnostic so I have to see it to believe it but why are you watching this in the woods while at the same time investigating. That's a death sentence in my book and in many others. The 1st rule for the protagonist in horror movies in my book is to never investigate and I believe your breaking that rule (don't mean to offend you or to be mad at you)

The reason why she’s called la Llorona cuz she’s really sad and since this is Spanish and in Latin (Spanish basically) it means sad/crying write Llorona and when u type it there is a crying emoji next to it (only works on mobile)

This story is popular She married that wealthy man but his dad wasn’t happy bc she was poor they had 2 kids they were happy but until she went older that man found a new girl who is younger and wealthier so his dad could be proud of him she was so upset and she went crazy and accidentally threw her kids into river when she found out she threw her self into river

@@adolphmose6273 my grandma is 84 years and she has seen la llorona so here's the story so her parents told her to go wash some clothes but the thing is it was night so she went to the river and she was washing her clothes when she heard somebody crying and she sees her la llorona so she ran home and never went back there.
