Looks great! I’ve been thinking about upgrading from my Gaggia Classic Pro to the Micra or the Lelit Bianca V3. I’m having a hard time narrowing it down because they are both such great machines. Does the limited space between the bottom of your portafilter and drip tray cause any issues with using your cups? With the Gaggia I had to buy a low profile drip tray and even then, I frequently have to remove it entirely so I can fit a scale and cup underneath it. It’s a known issue with the Gaggias and it is one thing that is making me think hard about the Micra. I don’t know if I want another machine that requires some fiddling every time I go to pull a shot. The La Marzoccos are beautiful, though, and I really like the color options, not to mention the outstanding build quality and reputation. Tough choices!

Hi, recently bought a micra and noticed that it makes a loud whistling sound as it cools down after it has been turned off. does this happen to you too?

I think it is normal due to it is releasing water into the drip tray after cools

I have the linea micra as well (going on 3 months) and was wondering if you have any tips on how to steam the milk? I can't seem to get it right :(

Hi, it took me some time to adjust to the power of it but I kept it on full power, rather than turning in it down in the app. I’m now steaming it exactly as it says in the manual and not how I used to with my old machine. So basically, I just pop the wand on just below the milk line and then tilt the jug backwards towards me. If that makes any sense, then It just seems to make a vortex and works fairly well… I think I still need some more time though
